The Minster Jr/Sr High School project was a complete renovation to an existing 70,153-square-foot, school facility located in Minster, Ohio. H.A. Dorsten completed the General Trades Package, and acted as the Lead Contractor. This project was split into six phases, with phases two through five taking place while school was ongoing. As you can imagine, a great deal of coordination was required to keep new construction moving as smooth as possible.
Among other things, the General Trades Package consisted of demolition, concrete slabs and patching, masonry and masonry restoration, wood floor refinishing, metal stud walls, insulation, drywall, wood doors, metal frames, aluminum entries, door hardware, painting, lockers, display cabinets, office and school associated furniture, casework, window shades, wheelchair lift, building letters and signs, visual display boards, kitchen equipment removal and installation, and exterior improvements.
