H.A. Dorsten, Inc.

Ron received his B.A. from The Ohio State University in 1967 and joined his father in the family business shortly thereafter. With over 53 years of experience in the construction industry, Ron has been instrumental in driving H.A. Dorsten forward. In his free time, Ron enjoys a good game of golf.
 

Sean is a graduate of Heidelberg University where he completed his B.S. in 1990. He has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and enjoys coaching junior high football, spending time with his family at the lake, traveling, reading, and sports.

As safety director, Ben is responsible for ensuring all personnel are adequately trained to safely perform the task at hand. Ben has over 43 years of experience in the construction industry, with 18 of those years in safety. He has received certification in OSHA 500, allowing him to teach 10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA classes. Ben is also a certified aerial work platform (AWP) instructor, and forklift instructor. In his off time, Ben enjoys traveling and having as much fun with his grandkids as possible.

Eric is a graduate of Wright State University where he received his B.S. in Business Management. Eric has attended Chief Builder School, and has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. In his spare time, Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his wife and kids, and coaching baseball.

Evan joined our H.A. Dorsten team in 2020 after completing an internship with us in the summer of 2019. Evan completed his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo, and has over 2 years of experience in the construction industry. Evan is an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, and enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, and playing basketball.

Jan has dedicated over 48 years of her life to keeping the front office of H.A. Dorsten running like a finely tuned machine. In her spare time, Jan enjoys training and showing dogs, quilting, sewing, gardening, music in the forms of singing and playing the French horn, and enjoying the outdoors.

Joe enlisted in the military shortly after high school, and spent 5 years on active duty as a U.S. Navy Seabee. The U.S. Navy Seabees provide wartime and humanitarian construction around the world. Joe received an honorable discharge in 2011 after deploying to both Japan and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He began working in the field as a carpenter while attending college in the evenings. Joe completed his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his A.A. from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He is OSHA 30-Hour certified, attended Chief Builder School, and has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. In his off time, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, Angela, and their 5 children, woodworking, and learning something new.

Matt is a graduate of Ohio Northern University where he completed his B.S. in Engineering Technology and Construction Management. Matt is efficient in MBMA Energy Code, has attended Chief Builder School, and has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. In his time away from work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and their 5 children, as well as participating in events around the Ft. Loramie community, and playing weekly league volleyball.

Morris has been a part of our H.A. Dorsten team for over 43 years. He graduated from ITT Technical Institute with a degree in Architecture and Engineering. Morris enjoys camping, traveling, visiting with his children and grandchildren, and touring craft breweries and wineries.

Steve completed his B.S. in Construction Management at the University of Cincinnati. He has over 33 years of experience in the construction industry, and has received training in Lead Hazard Awareness. Outside of work, Steve enjoys family activities (mostly spoiling his grandson), playing guitar and being Chairman of the Worship Team at his church, reading, gardening, and following the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State football and basketball.

Deb has been performing duties in the front office of H.A. Dorsten for over 22 years. In her time away from work, Deb enjoys spending time with their 3 children, getting together with family, traveling, biking, traveling, reading, traveling, baking, canoeing, traveling…you get the point.

Kris has been performing duties in the front office of H.A. Dorsten for over 20 years. Kris enjoys spending her off time with family, crafting, reading, volunteering, and shopping.
