Special Needs:
This was HASTCO’S second SSA facility completed for the same developer so we went into this Design Buildproject with creative ideas to maximize the governments list of requirements. This buildingrequired blast resistant windows, high STC ratings for walls and doors in the hearing rooms, and Energy Star rating. The Energy Star rating was achieved through specifications included occupancy sensors for lights and HVAC, florescent lighting, low-e glass, and R-30 insulation in the walls and ceiling.
