Testimonials
Berry Plastics, Lawrence, KS. embarked on an production expansion plan during 2006-2007. We needed specific building modifications to be made to convert an existing warehouse building into a manufacturing department. We contracted HASTCO Construction to perform the necessary building work.
We were very pleased with the quality and workmanship shown by the HASTCO group throughout the project. We held weekly meetings throughout the project, HASTCO led these meetings, we also had daily
supervision on-site to schedule the activities between multiple contractors. As we embark on phase II of this project, we would not hesitate to utilize HASTCO for our buildingneeds.
We have just finished the construction of a new farm equipment dealership facility in Owatonna, MN. The project was managed by HASTCO Construction in Topeka, KS. We contacted the HASTCO people initially because they had recently completed projects of similar facilities. In our early discussions we talked about the concern of our contractorand architect (Davidson Architecture, Lenexa, KS) being located in Kansas, with our project in Minnesota. We worked our way through those concerns with the knowledge that we would have the necessary personal contact from the home offices, along with onsite presence through the entire project We liked many of the ideas they brought to us that made sense for our type of business. Their recent projects showed us they had knowledge and feel for what we needed. From design to bid processes to managing the project to paying attention to the budget, the relationship proved to be a good one. HASTCO managed the project with an in house project manager (making site visits at least monthly), and with an on sight manager that ran the show on a day to day basis. He worked with all the contractors (virtually all were local firms) coordinating, overseeing, and watchdogging the whole process. His knowledge and ability to relate to the contractors was invaluable.
The best part of the whole deal is that the end result is right. The HASTCO commitment to doing it right and to our satisfaction allows me to recommend this company to others that are considering similar projects.
AgriVision Equipment worked with HASTCO Construction on our most recent new building project in Red Oak, Iowa. The project consisted of a 44,500 square foot building with an interior mezzanine. Every person on our job was professional, courteous and respectful of our employees and customers. I would highly recommend HASTCO and I am working with them presently on a renovation project and an expansion for our John Deere facilities at 2 of our locations.
I write this letter in recommendation of HASTCO as a generalcontractor.
They’ve been an important partner of Berry Plastics for over a decade. They have led numerous expansion and renovationprojects for us, both large and small, and have always successfully delivered. Their responsiveness and ability to manage all phases of projects and related parties is outstanding. We strongly recommend them for any type of construction project.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with HASTCO Construction since 2009, and President Art Kuehler for nearly 20 years. Our work together during this time has ranged from tenant build-outs and additions, to multi-million dollar manufacturing facilities.
Art Kuehler and his staff at HASTCO have shown exceptional willingness to work together to create the right solution for each and every project we’ve been teamed. They continually demonstrate that the client can rely on them to get the job done under a wide variety of circumstances.
Their business structure has proven to add value to each project, and their open book approach to the buildingprocess creates seamless management from start to finish.
We at DA&E endorse HASTCO as a qualified builder as well as a great Team partner.
HASTCO has completed construction on two projects for us; one was new construction over 150 miles away and one was a remodel here in town. Both projects were completed close to the target dates. HASTCO’s staff returns your telephone calls, answers questions, helps resolve problems and are easy to work with. We will use them again before the year is over.
I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of HASTCO Construction. I have had the opportunity of working with multiple members of the HASTCO team from Art Kuehler the President to Keaton Taylor the Lead Estimator to Brian Springer, Field Superintendent.
From the first experience to the last, in working with the whole team at HASTCO, they have been accommodating in meeting and exceeding the expectations of Pizza Ranch, Inc. and its Franchisee’s with timely completions, value engineering ideas and construction practices.
They have been an integral part of Pizza Ranch’s success in speed to opening and have assisted us in setting a higher bar of achievement to this end. We will continue to use the HASTCO team on future projects and consider them a preferred vendor for more than just their quality of work which by the way is top notch, but also for the business and personal integrity.
I look forward to continued successes on future projects.
We have been involved with the HASTCO construction group since 2005 in helping us design and construct our John Deere dealership new build and remodeling projects. In working with HASTCO, we have appreciated their knowledge of the dealership business and working with us to get the best product for the dollar. They understand all facets of the business including traffic flow, wash bay systems, service departments, parts flow, and the total environment that gives the dealership store the professional look and functionality that produces long lasting results.
The construction product that HASTCO has delivered through the Design/Build concept is a quality product with innovative ideas and solutions. By working through this system, we have been able to save dollars and better understand the costs associated with the project.
When it comes to “brick & mortar” projects for PrairieLand Partners, we will continue to look at HASTCO for our buildingneeds. Our working relationship has been very positive with a great product delivered.
My relationship with HASTCO started earlier this year when we decided to build a Pizza Ranch in Emporia, Kansas. HASTCO was selected as our General Contractor, not because they were the cheapest but because they appeared to be the best. We have not been disappointed by our choice. The way they do business far exceeds the way other contractors we have worked with in the past do business. The staff is top notch and they truly care that I am getting the building that I want. They are continually looking for ways to improve the project. Looking back, if HASTCO had been involved before we hired an architect the project would have gone much smoother. I now understand why design-build is the only way to go!
We anticipate building 3 or 4 more stores in the next a couple of years and definitely would like HASTCO to be our contractor. We will also make sure HASTCO is on board from the beginning.
We are strongly recommending to corporate that HASTCO becomes a preferred contractor for all Pizza Ranch projects.
HASTCO did a wonderful job on the construction of our new building. From their talented team, that helped us design it, to the skilled workers who constructed it. They made sure the work was done right and to our satisfaction. We were very pleased and look forward to working with them in future projects.
Stotz Equipment has just completed its third John Deere Dealership with HASTCO Construction Group in the past three years. HASTCO played an integral role in our new building construction delivering exceptional design build, value engineering, cost controls and constructionmanagement. We have continued to utilize HASTCO for our new facility needs based on their in-depth understanding of our business and their unprecedented ability to deliver our projects on-time, on budget with great care for details and workmanship. We currently are utilizing HASTCO in two dealership remodels and plan on utilizing them in two large dealership expansions scheduled to commence in 201.
In each project we have undertaken with HASTCO, the relationship has been more of a partnership than your typical General Contractor/Owner relationship. The entire team at Stotz Equipment highly recommends HASTCO for any construction project, it has been our pleasure working with them.
