Dan Allen's Bio
Dan Allen
Vice President
Professional Synopsis
Dan Allen is the Vice President of BCH Mechanical. Dan is responsible for the management of the Field Operations of BCH Mechanical and their subsidiaries. His past experience includes 25 years with the Phillips, Getschow Company, a large mechanical contractor in Chicago, Illinois. Dan has worked on every conceivable job encompassed by a mechanical contractor. He started out as a pipe fitter, spent many years in the capacity of Superintendent and Project Manager before being promoted to Vice President. He managed the Joliet Division, which did industrial and heavy commercial construction, employing over 400 craftsmen including pipe fitters, boiler makers, plumbers, sheet metal works and service mechanics.
Dan manages our entire field force including all Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Assistants, Field Coordinators, Senior Superintendents, Superintendents and Foreman. He takes a personal interest in each of their growth and development with the company. As someone who made it through the different ranks at the field level and into the office, Dan likes to see men and women grow and progress, earning their way to higher positions.
Dan plays a major role for BCH Mechanical by being a hands on Vice President. As described above, Dan’s specialty is in the production and operations portion of our business. He makes it a point to visit every project we have and to get to know the team we are working with. He assists our production staff as much or a little as needed, but is definitely always there for them. There doesn’t seem to be a time that Dan cannot be reached and has that same “whatever it takes” mentality all BCH employees do.
