Stanley A. Ward Jr's Bio
Mr. Ward has been the president and CEO of Ward Construction Co. since its inception in 1986. Mr. Ward has 25 years of experience in CM/GC and hard bid for new work, additions, and renovations. He is primarily responsible for project management and field operations. He also has significant estimating experience.
Stan has a strong role in each project from the initial planning phases, through preconstruction and construction phases giving the owner and architect one knowledgeable point of contact throughout the duration of the project including the warranty phase. In addition, as our lead project manager, Stan will be coordinating the office operation with the field activities to ensure that the project runs smoothly: creating the initial schedule with the superintendent, securing subcontractors, reviewing and correcting shop drawings, expediting materials, pricing owner/architect change requests and processing pay requests.
Before starting Ward Construction Co., Mr. Ward was the director of field operations and project manager for Beaudoin Construction Company from 1983 – 1986. He supervised project managers and superintendents. Prior to 1983, Mr. Ward worked as a field engineer for Hensel Phelps Construction Company and quality control manager for Sauter Construction.

Paul D. Sommer's Bio
Paul has been Vice President of Ward Construction Co. since 1987 and has 27 years of experience as a professional estimator and 20 plus years as a project manager. He is primarily responsible for estimating, marketing and plays a strong role in project management. With his extensive hard bid and conceptual estimating experience, Paul has developed an extensive library of cost data and competent and capable subcontractors that are continuously updated today. He is also in charge of and responsible for business development and marketing. As an estimator, Paul has bid projects up to $18 million.
Prior to his current position at Ward Construction Co., Paul graduated to Chief Estimator for Beaudoin Construction Company, a commercial general contractor, from 1982 through 1986. He oversaw the pricing of projects up to 15 million dollars.
He has extensive experience in the CM/GC process and Design/Build developments, and has created numerous relationships with local architects, engineers and code officials as well as having developed and implemented team oriented policies and procedures.

Dale G. Harrington's Bio
Dale has worked as General Superintendent for Ward Construction Co. since 1992, and has been a superintendent for over 30 years. He is responsible for all jobsite operations, subcontractor scheduling and project performance. Having had experience in projects up to $15,000,000, Dale brings a great deal of experience to Ward Construction Co.
Prior to Ward Construction Co., Dale was employed by Gracon Corporation as a Superintendent/Project Manager from 1987 – 1991. His project experience included numerous building and civil construction projects that ranged in cost to $10 million that involved such owners as Rockwell International, Bureau of Reclamation, Metro Water and Sewer Districts, Corps of Engineers and United States Air Force.
Dale was the President of WRG Construction from 1980 – 1986. His responsibilities included all financial, administrative and field operations and construction of numerous building and civil projects that ranged in cost from $1 million to $5 million.
From 1972 – 1980, Dale was the Executive Vice President, Manager of the Construction Division, and Director of Personnel for Centric Corporation. His responsibilities included the overview of all construction operation and superintendents for both building and civil construction projects that mainly ranged in cost from $2 million to $5 million. Also, he was a superintendent on Building and Civil Construction Projects that ranged from $1 million to $15 million.
His work as a Superintendent/Project Manager/Estimator at Penner Construction from 1967 – 1972 included supervising and estimating various projects that ranged in cost from $1 million to $15 million.

Greg Gruno's Bio
Greg is an accomplished superintendent with over 33 years of experience with construction, additions and renovations. He has been a field superintendent with Ward since 1993. Greg has successfully managed projects up to $6 million.
He skillfully manages the contract documents to ensure he properly coordinates the projects: subcontractors, scheduling requirements, and owners and architects needs without the cost of extensive administrative and technical support. Greg is a strong communicator with an earned reputation for communicating with owners and architects. He holds weekly meeting with his subcontractors to address the needs of his project. In addition, his daily responsibilities include: communicating with and managing subcontractors and suppliers, quality control, detailed coordination of the project, and maintaining the project schedule, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
Prior to Ward Construction Greg has worked as a superintendent for Murray and Stafford overseeing retail projects up to 240,000 square feet at Stapleton Business Center. For Landmark Restoration, Greg was a superintendent specializing in the restoration and renovation of historic commercial properties. Greg also handled dual positions of foreman and lead carpenter on custom building projects for Gil-Con, Inc., a builder of Custom Homes.

Jim Leckenby's Bio
Jim has worked in construction for over 24 years, specializing in project management and estimating. He has worked as a senior project manager for Ward Construction since 2003. Jim has established policies and procedures for the project management and estimating departments. His skills include creating the initial schedule with the superintendent, securing subcontractors, reviewing and correcting shop drawings, expediting materials, pricing owner/architect change requests and processing pay requests. In addition he is proficient at soliciting bids; developing bid scope packages; and performing quantity takeoff.
Prior to working at Ward Construction Jim worked at Crosslands Construction as a project manager. Before his work at Crosslands, Jim worked as a project manager on projects up to $3.5 million for RAS Builders, managing high quality tenant finish projects, as well as remodels. Jim was project manager for the remodel of the Gart Sports Corporate Offices, which was nominated for remodel project of the year by the Real Estate Journal.
Jim also worked for ISEC as a project manager for 12 years, as his work experience covered the gamut of specialty products that ISEC provided.

Kenlynne Dodson's Bio
Kenlynne has been with Ward Construction Co. since 2004. She is both our office manager and an assistant for our project managers. She also attends to the daily needs of our superintendents and subcontractors. Her ability to coordinate and act promptly facilitates our ability to stay on top of project developments. She assists the project manager by:
Coordinating and managing the project,
which includes setting-up and maintaining all project files.
Monitoring subcontractors for required insurance, contracts, bonds, etc.
Sets-up and maintains all logs for: submittals, RFI’s (requests for information) and PR’s (proposal request) logs.
Tracking submittals, materials, deliveries, and other crucial information.
Scheduling meetings and disseminates
pertinent information to project managers and superintendents.
Preparing correspondence for subcontractors.
Securing required construction documents: tax identification forms, emergency phone numbers, pay applications, material delivery forms, and list of supplier forms.
Circulating and distributing plans for bids.
Maintaining and upgrading computers and office equipment, including software, hardware, fax machines, phones, etc.
Preparing owner and subcontractor change orders and billings.
Notifying subcontractors of close-out requirements, collecting all warranties and other documents, and then compiling operations and maintenance materials and as-built drawings for the owner.

Greg is an accomplished superintendent with over 35 years of construction experience. He has served at Ward Construction since 1993, and is responsible for all jobsite operations, subcontractor scheduling and project performance. Greg has successfully managed a variety of projects for Ward Construction that includes overseeing construction, additions and renovations.
Greg has the authority and skill to run the job without the cost of extensive administrative and technical support to get the job done. He has an exceptional reputation for communicating with the owners and architects in that he proactively addresses job site situations. In addition, his daily responsibilities include: communicating with and managing subcontractors and suppliers, quality control, detailed coordination of the project, and maintaining the project schedule, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
He has excellent computer experience using: Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project. He is also certified in standard first aid, adult CPR, various OSHA training, fall protection standards, practices and procedures, and in the use of rough terrain forklifts and scissor lifts.
Prior to Ward Construction Co., Greg worked as a Construction Foreman and lead carpenter on custom townhomes, tenant finish, concrete work. For the townhomes he successfully scheduled and coordinated subcontractors from foundations through finish work. His townhome project won a building award from the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.
