Scope Of Work
Flanking Interstate 95, the new garages at the Philadelphia International Airport serve as the gateway to the City of Philadelphia for motorists approaching from the south. More than doubling the Airport’s previous structured parking capacity by adding 5000 new parking spaces, the garages were completed in a phased expansion. At seven stories, Garage E is the largest of the parking structures, and features a unique double helix entry / egress ramp. Each of the garage entries is highlighted with a signature sculptural element, a 40′ tall stainless steel tube entry sail that is fiber-optically illuminated from the roadway below.
Daniel J. Keating Company was the General Contractor for a significant, phased expansion of the parking facilities at Philadelphia International Airport. These 3 garages doubled the airport’s previous parking capacity by adding 5,000 new parking spaces and 2.5 million square feet.
