Our Story
The Daniel J. Keating Company was founded in 1911 by Daniel J. Keating, Sr. as a mechanical contracting firm.
Over the years the company expanded, and leadership of the firm passed to Daniel J. Keating, Jr. Under his direction, the company moved its focus to general construction. During this time, Keating grew to be one of the largest and most respected General Contractors in the Philadelphia area, building many landmark Philadelphia structures, including Hahnemann Hospital, The Gallery at Market East and the main terminals at the Philadelphia International Airport.
Today, more than a hundred years later, Daniel J. Keating Company remains a recognized leader in the Philadelphia construction industry, with over 1,000 projects completed in the United States and abroad. Under the leadership of Pierce J. Keating, the company continues its legacy of excellence and integrity, and remains one of the premier General Contracting firms in the country.
