CES can complete estimates in a parametric cost structure when your ideas are at the conceptual stage. We draw on our experience with other projects of a similar size or building type.

We complete project estimates in the CSI format when a project has already been fully designed (SD, DD, and CD). We include a summary sheet, exclusions, clarifications, itemized list of general conditions, and the associated pricing.

We work with you throughout the design to keep tight control on the project estimate, providing updates that reflect any change. In addition, we allow the design team to identify and precisely track these movements in the overall cost.

CES will work with your firm to complete project takeoffs, establish bid tabulation sheets, and contact subcontractors for complete scope coverages. Additionally, CES will input information gathered from the project bid into a database to allow your firm to become better at preconstruction in the future. 

CES offers the ability to review existing properties that are contained in the disputed case and will provide various reports regarding the specific property. Initially, CES will physically examine the parcel to confirm the existing state of both the structures and property. Then, after the site walk, CES will compile all of the information into a cost report and visual aid for trial purposes. Finally, during the trial, CES provides expert witness testimony based on industry standards and relevant to the project in dispute.   

CES offers services to review construction pay applications to ensure they meet project guidelines and matches what is reflected on the project site.

Projects can suffer from an endless list of change orders issued by the assigned general contractor. CES will review project change orders and ensure they align with industry standards and meet your precise project requirements.

Our reviews involve a clear change order report that precisely outlines the cost impact of these amendments from the contractor.

CES will visit the site, and identify additional cost factors such as power, utilities, grading, storm drainage, traffic flow, and signs of any existing above or below grade structures that may need to be removed. We will research the site and work with the design team to create an accurate cost estimate.

Feasibility studies in the construction industry are preliminary investigations at the early stages of a project. Many times these feasibility studies are carried out on large or complex projects. CES can assist the design team by reviewing and providing feedback on various design options (i.e., steel construction verse tilt-wall). The feasibility study report can contain different levels of detail, including possible schedule impact due to material lead times or complexity of the design. We make sense of complex information, which will allow the design team to identify a path forward. 

CES can provide detailed estimating assistance for various MEP trades. These estimates will contain details found on the drawings including:

1. Plumbing systems, and equipment
2. Mechanical systems, and equipment
3. Electrical system, and equipment 

We will also strive to document any conflicts or questions that arise from the review of the Contract drawings & specifications.  

We will work with your project team to create a project schedule. Identifying various project milestones, lead times for materials, estimated submittal process duration, labor availability, and many more items will be included in the project schedule process.   

CES has experience working with storm or fire damage assessment to commercial, medical, and residential properties. We will deploy a team of personnel to quickly assess the damage and provide a written report regarding damage found and remediation recommendations.
