The company promised several things as a part of the work and they did it!. A project manager onsite during the roof replacement (he was there!). The ridge vent was a more effective alternative for the control of attic temperature than the old regular vent that had previously. My home support it and they took "precaution" just in case it could not be put on. I noticed it myself. They also removed and put back what was necessary to make it look completed in good quality and professional. I did give them this feedback personally. This is why I will always recommend them to other potential customers. Pablo H.
Ask lots of questions beforehand. The person that asked for my business and told me he wanted to work on my home, wasn't present for the majority of the job. I chose him, because he shared his qualifications and resume with me. He dropped off a crew that I couldn't communicate with. I had to call him , he would then call the crew chief. The roof looks good and will keep me protected, but I don't like haggling with people to get things done - do what you promised in the beginning. That is what took away a very good experience.
They installed a roof on my home six months ago. During Hurricane Irma, the roof peeled off. Maximum winds were 100 mph. They would not stand by their original work when I contacted them. They were just full of excuses.
I hired Rhyne in 2016 to re-roof the original part of my house. Bill Hall, their salesman was excellent but once I signed up it took several weeks before they actually did the job (Bill did a temporary patch when he came out). A year later, I decided to re-roof the newer part of my house and called Rhyne twice but never got a response, so I hired another roofer who did the job for considerably less than Rhyne's original estimate to me. Now, after Irma, I have a small leak in the roof that Rhyne did, easy to fix if I wasn't 79 years old. Called Rhyne but not too optimistic that anyone will come out. Will update this review if they do.
I was very pleased with the professionalism of Tony who gave me an estimate. Although slightly more expensive than some others, I went with them because of the process of producing and presenting the estimate. The work was done professionally, completed as promised, in one day, and the yard was left clean. PROBLEM: I called to have someone check a suspected leak. "We'll call you back." Never called back. I called again. Same response. After three or more tries, I gave up. Two days after the last call, they show up. Fortunately the problem was NOT a roof leak. CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE IS POOR
Great Company!!! My Rep Wes Miller came out after Hurricane Irma and within two weeks we have a new roof. Wes could not have made my first new roof purchase any smoother. This is my first home and I was kind of skeptical about roofers, from all the bad things I’ve heard. But Wes and the guys at Rhyne Restoration made this transaction a breeze. The roof looks amazing. They did a great job on the clean up as well. I did a lot of research and these guys came out on top. I’m very happy with the decision to go with Rhyne Restoration. I will definitely use them in the future and I highly recommend this company. Thanks again Wes Miller and the guys at Rhyne Restoration.
Absolutely great experience top to bottom. Not only did they give us a very fair price, they completed the whole roof in 1 day! The crew arrived early and finished tearing off the roof in no time. They barely stopped for lunch and before 5 pm, they were finished and there was a guy going around the whole yard with a MAGNET to collect any dropped nails. When the man installing new gutters (different company) came out, he said, that roof looks great! We think so too, but he looks at a lot of roofs, so he should know.
If this review was on the pleasant, courteous demeanor of the Rhyne Restoration personnel, this would be glowing, a high 5. But I did not hire for a pleasant experience, I hired for a value new roof that was professionally installed in a timely manner. The office staff assured me that that my messages would be passed on to the project managers and roofing specialists promptly. Result: days would go by with either no return or a return and no follow-up. Problems encountered: water diverter was originally not even installed; then when it was, it was installed incorrectly. Installers left debris in attic, including their fast-food wrappers. The contractual agreement to repair the patio roof with 50-year silicone left me with a roof that leaks like a sieve. Of great concern is the possibility that there is a weak spot (leak) in the roof over the garage. Ceiling "popcorn" is falling onto the garage floor. I grow weary of getting satisfaction on these issues. There has been no offer to come together and resolve the matter. By the way, the fact that the salesman I signed with has had to take over the care of his very ill mother, is no excuse for not having Rhyne Restoration provide continuing service.
This is the worst company ever to deal with! My poor 78 year old neighbor has been dealing with them NOT finishing nor coming to collect their supplies for over 4 months. At least 20 phone calls with not even the decency to return any of our calls. This company is a disgrace and should be Ashamed of themselves for treating the elderly this way!!! They left nails in the parking space which punctured my new tire without any compensation. My poor neighbor cannot even park her car in her space because they have left a dumpster and all their supplies in two parking spaces. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!
They did a very nice job as far as I can tell on the roof. But they did leave some staples behind in the grass from the old roof.
They walked me through all the paperwork and helped me with the insurance things as we had the roof replaced after a hail storm in 2015.
