Allworld Project Management was launched with a phone call seeking a Project Manager. Recently finishing business school and wading through a recession, our founder Michael A. Hooks Jr. saw this as an opportunity and offered his services. Allworld was then born in the trunk of a car, with a good computer and an unlimited cellphone/data plan.
Michael A. Hooks Jr. started the company by implementing a document control system on Tiger Lane. This project was part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and consisted of multiple sources of funds, multiple contractors and a compressed schedule.
Michael recalls during a project kickoff meeting saying ‘I’m going to set up these documents on the cloud” and the stakeholders looked at him like what is he talking about? The cloud? Now, its uncommon if documentation is not cloud based in the world of construction.
The firm expertise has grown with each opportunity. The culture has been to add value one task at a time. As we grew so did our ability to leverage technology. All of our projects have allowed us to implement both practical and technologically led innovation. In just over 6 years the company has grown to 30 full time employees and has had continued success in acquiring new business across diverse industry sectors.
