The Blue Book Network - North/Central Florida Region

When we first signed up for The Blue Book Network, we had no idea the amount of value we would be receiving.  We utilize The Blue Book everyday from updating our current and completed projects to seeing who's bidding the latest projects.  We have increased the number of General Contractors we are bidding to on individual projects as well as being sought out by new customers who found our listing in the search.  We also use our Blue Book page as our website.  On average we are seeing about 150 views per day to our Blue Book page.

Pamela is always there to answer any questions we have had or steer us in the right direction.  She has even taken the time to come out for some one on one training to help us utilize the services offered through The Blue Book.

We have been very pleased with the service and site from the beginning.

Fellas, I wanted to send you this email as an aid to help you make a decision with the blue book.

I have been in the construction business as an access floor contractor since 1985 and have used the Blue book to advertise our company from the beginning and our offices have grown to 28 offices in 7 different states. I can tell you there is no faster way to get the visibility you need to grow your customer base than with the blue book. I am issuing this reference on my own free will.  I am from California and used blue book as a GC out there.  When I needed subs, vendors and special items I found it easy to locate.  When I was send out bid requests, I had no problem locating the subs to meet the scopes I was looking for.  What I found as a helpful tool was working directly with the rep in the area who could direct me to and communicate with a select group that I was looking for.  Moving forward the GC I am working for now had no idea how helpful the reps and blue book could be.  On a very short notice when I contacted Pamela she came to our office listened to our issues and went right to work.  By the next day my phone was ringing with subs who would bid my project quickly.  This would have happened without Pamela and blue book.  Should you have any further questions I am open to discussing them with you.  Just call my cell.

Hello everyone,

My name is Darsh Desai. I am the owner & president of Pavers Depot, Orlando.

My company is with The Blue Book since 2013. I acquired this company in 2012. After my initial research, I have decided to start spending money with The Blue Book effective 2013. Here is the salient notes about my experience that may be useful to you.

1. There are lots of commercial customers they rely on the blue book to find the suppliers. All of sudden you are in a niche market where these potential customers will pick some one from that list. These are very mature professionals so quality of leads will be nice.

2. I have noticed that many out of state GCs, they use this website for quality subs in the local areas. For example, we are bidding a job for one GC located in Atlanta and job site is Daytona Beach. They got the job. I am the only bidder. Job size is app. 260k for my work.

3. My experience so far is that first job that we closed from the lead that came through The Blue Book in 2013, it made the profit that covers my Blue Book cost for next 7-8 years. Since then, we have closed 4-5 additional and bigger projects from the leads due to Blue Book. In summary, yields are fantastic. I recommend that you put the cell phone number of one of the owners as contact number on that website so when you get that kind of sales call on your cell, you know that it is coming from Blue Book reference.

Just fyi, I am not writing this email to impress The Blue Book representative or as such. I am just sharing my experience so other fellow small scale owners get the objective feedback ad make the informed decision. In today's market space, we have lots of choices. Our location is on I-4 East with 165000 vehicles exposure. Technically speaking, we do not need to spend money in the marketing that much but this is a niche market where return is almost 10 fold against my spending with them over last 4 years total.
