Scope Of Work
Christman is very proud to have been chosen to build the largest private hospital in the State of Texas that is completely devoted to women’s healthcare. Construction was completed in March, 2008 for this beautiful facility at a cost of $53,709,317. The interior room décor is very comforting to the patient and with family in mind. The hallways and seating areas reflect an art gallery atmosphere. The only difference is the presence of the physicians and nursing staff.
A statue of a women’s dress resides in the Labor and Delivery Lobby. The polka dots are inscribed with the hospital donors’ names. The Labor and Delivery rooms include a small separate sitting area with a separate TV, so family can be involved yet still provide privacy for the mother-to-be.
Christman Millwork built and installed Murphy Beds that are hidden in the head wall of the postpartum patients’ rooms. The beds pull out of the wall to provide a single bed, so the new mom and baby can have an overnight visitor spend the night in comfort.
