Our Story

A Myrtle Beach, South Carolina based construction firm committed to excellence in every aspect of the construction process.

Looking at the skyline of Myrtle Beach will attest to a 50 year legacy built by Dargan Construction Company, a legacy which would not exist if not for the loyalty and longevity of our employees and our clients.

When it comes to integrity, service, and professionalism, Dargan is a leading general building contractor in South Carolina and beyond.  These principals lie at the core of its existence, instilled there by its founder, Archie Shaw Dargan.

Our mission statement sums it up, "We will strive to exceed the expectations of our clients by providing construction services which are recognized as an exceptional value, performed in a manner reflecting our total commitment to safety, quality and a timely completion within budget."

In February 2001, to better serve the needs of our community, the Dargan Foundation was established.  Dargan Construction Company contributes a portion of its revenue annually to the Foundation in its effort to give back to the community.
