Ricky Spoon Builders

Ricky Spoon Builders, Inc., is a limited liability corporation owned and operated by Ricky Spoon of Pittsboro, NC. An attorney and member of the North Carolina Bar since 1985, Ricky became interested in building when he and his wife built their first home together in 1988. By 1989, he had his contractor’s license and by 1992 had formed his company. It was in the early 90’s that his first dream home was featured in Southern Living’s Home Plans Magazine. This plan was the Sulphur Springs, designed in collaboration with William Poole and built in the Holly Springs subdivision, Sunset Ridge. 

Ricky Spoon Builders is family-owned and as such, the home buyer gets to interact one on one with the builder and his family of employees.
 

Ricky believes in hiring and building locally. He has built in Chatham, Orange, and Wake counties. He has built in subdivisions, and he has developed his own subdivisions in Chatham County as well as Bellemont Point, a commercial/residential endeavor in Pittsboro, North Carolina. He is not a tract builder. He will consider building on a buyer’s lot. 
Both Ricky and his wife are Chatham County natives. They believe in responsible development and growth and the uniqueness that small, dedicated business brings to the community.
