Scope Of Work
THOR Construction, in partnership with M.A. Mortenson Construction, built the new home of the Minnesota Vikings and the 2018 Super Bowl. The stadium boasts the lightest and most efficient stadium roof structure in the nation and includes a single large steel super truss that provides primary support for the main long span roof. It also has the largest clear ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) roof in the world, and is the first ever ETFE roof to cover a stadium. This new technology allows spectators to connect to the outdoors from a climate-controlled environment.
