Bob Battles, President of Dovetail Construction Inc., started out in the building industry over 20 years ago as a high end carpenter. Working in the million-dollar and beyond residential market provided Bob with a wealth of experience in all phases of construction. From foundation work, framing & siding, to finish carpentry, all work has, and still is founded on the principles of providing the highest quality finish carpentry work.

Dovetail Construction was established in 1998, after being approached by long-time clients to develop extensive rental property renovation and commercial office projects. Since that time, Dovetail Cosntruction has consistently provided top quality commercial construction throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

To this day, all projects large or small, are personally supervised by Bob Battles, most times even on-site fo all phases of the building process. The majority of Dovetail Construction's work has been done with negotiated contracts, and guaranteed maximum prices. All costs are detailed, with all receipts outlined and submitted on a monthly basis. Dovetail Cosntruction prides themselves on working directly with the Owners throughout the project. This style of open and direct communication has resulted time and again in smoothly run jobs, consistently met deadlines, cost-efficiency, and above all a supreme end result.
