Richard Lemus's Bio
Richard joined our company in 1978 as a supervisor of concrete site work and went on to serve in a variety of capacities as the company expanded. In 1999, he assumed responsibility for our numerous properties and today oversees our main facility in San Jose while supporting off-site locations throughout the Bay Area.
Richard is responsible for the purchasing and maintenance of all equipment, machinery, vehicles, and materials. Additionally, he handles the day-to-day operations of our office in Kona, Hawaii, and works closely with the CEO on matters of investment in equipment, facilities, and real estate.
Robert A. Bothman's Bio
Robert A. Bothman started his construction career in the mid-1970s as a laborer and concrete finisher for residential contractors in California’s Santa Clara Valley. As he took on projects from other contractors, he gained extensive knowledge of underground construction, structural concrete, and paving projects. In 1978, Bob founded B&B Concrete to focus primarily on sidewalk repairs, driveways and foundation work. The company grew steadily, and in 1983 Bob obtained his General Engineering Contractor’s License and began to build sports facilities, public parks, and athletic fields. In 1997, we began to diversify while continuing to be leaders in architectural and structural concrete.
Today, as owner and Chief Executive Officer, Bob guides the long-term vision and growth strategy for the company. Drawing on more than 35 years of experience at all levels of the construction business, Bob understands what is required for success and serves as a trusted mentor and leader for his employees.

James Moore's Bio
James joined Robert A. Bothman 1988. His contributions are based on his extensive knowledge understanding budgeting, cost , constructability analysis, design coordination, scheduling . He currently manages all , from cost estimating through design planning. Under James’ , our estimating department has to handle all aspects public private bidding, from preliminary budgeting cost estimating to constructability , , master scheduling.
James has been instrumental in our emergence as an industry leader in sports on West Coast. addition to his role as for some our , James has as lead estimator, design , , /or for many our most prominent athletic . Among these are the running track for the Home Depot National Training Center, renovation Memorial Field for University California, Berkeley, district-wide, design-build athletic facilities for San Mateo Community College.
James is a board Friends Guadalupe River American Society Professional Estimators, Chapter 55. He is also a past school board at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church School San Jose, where he also serves as a strategic planning . James holds a Bachelor Science Administration from California State University, Chico.

Andrew Bothman's Bio
Andrew Bothman joined our team in 2000 as a field laborer and also worked in dispatch and the estimating department. When an opportunity presented itself in the project management department, he decided to focus his career in this sector of the company. After serving as an Assistant Project Manager for several years, he was promoted to Project Manager and continued to advance and exceed the company’s annual goals. Illustrating his capabilities in managing teams, contract negotiation, cost controls, and client relationship building, he was promoted to Director of Project Management.
Andrew has been successful in planning and forecasting company financials, budgeting, preparing Corporate Business Plans and managing the Project Management Department. Andrew has an MBA credential with a Finance concentration from Santa Clara University and is currently Vice President of the Company.
Mike Quatman's Bio
Mike joined Robert A. Bothman in 1990, as a Field Operations Foreman and was quickly promoted to Superintendent. In the summer of 1998, he moved his family to Oregon and worked as General Manager and Plant Manager for door manufacturer JELD-WEN. In Oregon, Mike learned Lean Transformation and became proficient in driving Strategic Cultural Change.
In 2016 he relocated his family back to the Bay Area and rejoined the Bothman family as Operations Manager. He successfully established the Code of Conduct and Culture of Safety programs which have reduced incidents and insurance claims for the company. Mike introduced the Continuous Improvement thought process to Bothman. In his current role as Director of Operations, he continues to focus on safety, quality, employee retention, updating corporate policies and achieving the overall business goals. He values cultural diversity and understands how important it is for a company to embrace ethnic differences in order to succeed.
His career in construction started in 1980, as an apprentice, at Robert Quatman Inc., his father's company. It was there that he learned how to successfully run a landscaping business. He credits his business networking talent to his father who taught him two very important skills; how to communicate well with people to make an impact and get their attention, and the importance of good listening skills. He continues to live by his father words" Follow the Golden Rule and treat others as you would like to be treated". In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, duck hunting and fishing. Mike has a Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California.

Brian Bothman's Bio
Brian joined our team in 1983. A member of the Corporate Strategy Team, Brian is responsible for articulating our vision, opening new markets and developing collaborative ventures and strategic partnerships.
Throughout his career, Brian has worked to enhance the industry’s role in convening the public and private sectors to collaborate on issues in the public interest. Among these issues are alternative delivery models, legislative reform, and sustainable design integration. Brian has been instrumental in establishing our partnerships with numerous federal, state and local agencies to embrace key concepts of sustainability, water quality, erosion control and alternative energy sources.
Brian has worked with numerous high-profile clients, including the San Francisco 49ers, the Oakland Raiders, Santa Clara University, Intel, Apple, Chevron, Google, Facebook, and many others. He maintains active relationships with Associated General Contractors, United Contractors, American Sports Builders Association and the American Institute of Architects. He holds memberships in the Design-Build Institute of America, the U.S. Green Building Council and the Solar Energy Network.
Brian is a passionate supporter of his community working with the Good Tidings Foundation, City Fields Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, San Francisco 49ers Foundation and San Francisco 49ers Academy. He serves on the board of Via Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities.

Michael Mingrone's Bio
Michael Mingrone joined the executive team at Robert A. Bothman in 2013. As the Director of Finance, he oversees the Company's corporate finance programs. In his role as Corporate Counsel, he is responsible for corporate compliance, contractional agreements, and litigation claims. He manages the Finance, Accounting, Contracts, and Legal Departments and maintains excellent relationships with our banks, surety, and insurance partners. Michael works closely with the executive staff on company best practice and processes, including the employee benefit plans and company investment portfolios. Under Michael's guidance, the company has successfully implemented financial and cost savings strategies that positively impact company profitability.
Born and raised in Santa Clara County, Michael graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2010. He also holds an MBA from Santa Clara University - Leavey School of Business and maintains a CPA license in California. Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the California Polytechnic State University.
Michael is an avid sports fan who appreciates the sense of unity and community sport brings. This is one of the many reasons why Michael joined the Robert A. Bothman team! When Michael is not working, he spends time with his family and enjoys traveling, the outdoors, attending sporting events and volunteering in his community.
