Christopher B. Rosene's Bio
Chris leads Berghammer’s Finance and Treasury functions. His responsibilities include leading the design, documentation and implementation of proactive, efficient and effective financial and accounting policies, as well as the oversight of the preparation of corporate financial statements, budgets, corporate tax returns, and cash flow.
Chris serves as Berghammer’s primary liaison to the company’s external resources for banking, bonding, and corporate insurance (business and health) and directs and administers Berghammer’s corporate human resources, information technology, and risk management programs. He serves as a member of the Executive Management Team and participates in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.
Prior to joining Berghammer in 2012, Chris held leadership positions with similar responsibilities across various industries including 10 years with a national real estate development company. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Wisconsin and is a member of the Construction Financial Managers Association (CFMA).
James F. Parks's Bio
As President, Jim Parks applies his more than 31 years of experience in the construction industry to successfully manage all aspects of project delivery with a focus on pre-construction services. He routinely assists clients with project feasibility analysis and personally oversees Berghammer’s pre-construction, conceptual estimating and preliminary budgeting processes. His experience and background in the industry includes multiple facility types such as commercial office, retail, education, religious, as well as manufacturing and industrial facilities.
Prior to joining Berghammer in 1999, Jim served as a Division President of a Wisconsin-based general contracting/construction management firm. He practiced real estate, bankruptcy, and corporate law, and commercial litigation preceding his involvement in the construction industry.
A Milwaukee native, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Marquette University and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition, Jim serves on the boards of Milwaukee Catholic Home, Center for Working Families and St. Mary’s Parish. He is actively involved in NAIOP and is a member of the Commercial Association of Realtors – Wisconsin Chapter and who recognized him as Associate of the Year in 2000 and 2004. Jim also enjoys serving as a mentor and participates in mentorship programs through NAIOP and Nativity Jesuit Academy.
Kevin White's Bio
Kevin is responsible for managing all aspects of Berghammer’s projects including pre-construction services, budgeting and cost control, value engineering and scheduling. Those services segue into the development of bid packages, subcontractor selection, quality assurance, and all aspects of project management from inception to completion.
Kevin has more than 23 years of construction experience across many market sectors. Kevin started his career at Berghammer as an Intern, and was hired as a Project Engineer upon graduation. He advanced to Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager as a 10 year Berghammer employee. Kevin departed for 10 years to become Director of Construction at Fiduciary Real Estate Development. Kevin returned to Berghammer in 2015 as a Partner. During the past 10 years, Kevin has been immersed in the design, development, and construction of over 2,500 multi-family units. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science, Construction Administration degree from the UW-Madison, and Master of Business Administration from Marquette University.
Martin Chapa's Bio
As Vice President of Construction, Martin specializes in the management of healthcare projects at every stage of development including feasibility studies, design development, multi-phasing coordination, construction management and project closeout. His reputation of having the ability to blend the relationships of the user groups, design consultants and the different trades has been key in being able to deliver successful projects over his 30+ years of experience. This has helped him understand the design intent, coordinate a common goal, and manage the project.
Martin is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.
Matthew L. Iwanski's Bio
In the role of Senior Project Manager, Matt is responsible for coordinating aspects of a project from the assembly of budgets and schedules to the project closeout. He maintains daily communication with field personnel to ensure collective planning is maintained. Matt serves as Berghammer’s primary liaison for communication with the client, decision partners and subcontractors. He leads the development of bid packages, value engineering, project administration and subcontractor selection. He manages all work components from a project’s inception through completion. Matt is also responsible for proactive pre-job planning including design development, estimating, scheduling, bidding, contracts and project team communications. His project experience ranges from multi-phased renovations to new construction. Included in these projects, Matt has held additional leadership roles as the LEED Administrator of LEED Certified and LEED Silver projects.
Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Construction Engineering and Management Option. He is a State of Wisconsin Licensed Professional Engineer.
