Lisa Daugherty's Bio
Lisa may have taken her own path to success by starting and running three small businesses, but the tree care industry has always been a part of her life. From an early age, she spent many afternoons helping her dad, Phil, work his new company and learning from him the techniques of proper tree care. Lisa didn’t immediately follow her father’s footsteps into tree care but instead decided to branch out and make her own way. Since 1996, she has developed and maintained her entrepreneurship spirit as a small business owner. This spirit along with her knowledge of business systems, personnel management, and regulatory compliance has led her to assist with the expanding growth of Ping’s Tree Service. She brings a renewed culture to the company, allowing us to reevaluate our practices and make changes to enhance our growth and service to our customers. She continues to advance our business systems and processes in order to provide an even better service. When she isn’t at Ping’s, Lisa is managing her own businesses or spending time with her husband and five children.
Philip Ping's Bio
In 1973, Mr. Ping began his career in the tree care industry by performing basic tree work. While running the business out of his Indianapolis home, he was simultaneously serving in the United States Army Reserves as a helicopter mechanic and working full time at the local Chrysler Automotive Foundry. His passion for tree care grew and motivated him to earn his ISA Arborist Certification. Phil’s expertise along with his caring and kind demeanor paved the way to success. He incorporated Ping’s Tree Service in 1985, and it is now the largest locally owned tree care company in our service area. Mr. Ping has served on the Indianapolis/Marion County Tree Board since its inception in 2007 and has sponsored Arbor Day celebrations for many years. He is a strong supporter of the Indiana Arborist Association and has sponsored their annual conference several times. Phil also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Even as the company continues to expand, Phil stays connected to the tree work itself. Most days you can catch him around town, inspecting trees and providing quotes to our customers. On occasion, you may even catch a glimpse of him up in a tree working with the crew. No matter how large Ping’s Tree Service becomes, Phil is still right in the center of it all.

Aaron Wimmer's Bio
Aaron came to the tree care industry with a diverse employment background. He served our country in Operation Desert Storm and was with the US Marine Corp for 4 years. After completing his service, he began working in commercial diving doing underwater welding. Due to the high-risk nature of the commercial diving business, Aaron decided to move into a position in the automotive industry. There he was a manufacturing production manager/supervisor for General Motors and Chrysler. In 2008, he left the automotive industry and launched his career in tree care with Ping’s Tree Service. Since starting with Ping’s, he has acquired his ISA Certified Arborist Certification, the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), his Licensed Pesticide Applicator Certification in Indiana, and his status as a TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional (CTSP). From his various work experiences, he has gained extensive professional skills in quality control and work force management. These are the qualities Aaron brings to work every day. When he’s not caring for customer’s trees, you can find him working in his own yard or spending time with his wife and two daughters.
