   JPS Electric Co., Inc. was founded by James Schmiemann in 1985. James has worked diligently over the last 3 decades to grow his business from a 1 man 1 van shop to a 10 vans and 20 men. JPS Electric serves over 2000 clients and growing daily. JPS services the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial business's across Nassau and Suffolk counties of Long Island, NY. In 2006 James son Kevin Schmiemann step foot into the company and helped his father expand the business to the technical side of the electrical industry. Kevin trained a team of skilled technicians that would venture off into the Lighting Control systems, Surveillance, Access Control, Networking etc.  

    JPS Electric has also become a direct dealer for Briggs & Stratton and GE generators. Providing an emergency power source to commercial outfits that refuse to have down time due to power outages, whole home solutions, partial home solutions, and load shedding systems for those who can conserve during the outage. 

    Our over all Goal is to provide world class service at an affordable rate.
