Our Story
Gary Kaplan 40 years in the lumber and architectural plywood business sold his 80 year old family business in 2006. Shortly thereafter he decided to use his skills and start a construction company. He became a general contractor. He first started with small residential projects. At first he was sub-contracting all the work to experienced contractors while learning the trade and using his connections and management skills to continue to grow. He started to hire his own crew of men, build some inventory and work on bigger residential projects. All along the way he was trying to meet builders, architects, and designers to get work from. In the meantime growing their crew to 12 men. Now, depending on the size of the project(s), Kaplan is able to take on more jobs at one time with great results. A typical of a contractor, Gary will never abandon a project, he shows up, keeps his promises, and will make the job right. Gary's reputation depends on it. Kaplan will fix the work even after the job has finished, even if he is on the next project. Kaplan also offer maintenance plans, so the work stays fresh and looking new. Currently, Kaplan can accomplish any size project and can provide many references upon request. Gary is the president of the company.
