Our Story
Mission Statement: To provide first class customer service to both our Tenants and construction Clients by providing direct access to the executives of the company, who ensure that every decision made within the company incorporates the company’s core values and upholds our strong family reputation.
Core Values:
- Honesty/Integrity: If it’s not good for our Tenant or Client, it’s not good for us. So we are as up front and honest with our Tenants and Clients as possible so we can be trusted and relied upon. This is the foundation and key element to developing our strong business relationships and why a lot of our Tenants have stayed with us for as long as 30+ years and why our construction clients come back to us time and time again. 90% of our construction work comes from repeat customers from the previous year.
- Consistency/Quality: Once we develop these strong relationships, our word and the quality of our work are consistent with our actions. We pride ourselves on working within our Clients budgets while delivering a high quality product within projected time frames.
- Discipline: We stick to what we know best and are very good at what we do. We never take on too much work or get involved with projects that we cannot handle. Maintaining this discipline has allowed us stay in business for over 60 years.
- Versatility: We truly are a one stop shop. Having a Real Estate, Maintenance, and Construction division allows us to provide any service our customer may need. No repair is too small and no job is too big or too complicated. We specialize in building grocery stores, which are often thought of to be the second hardest stores to build behind only hospitals, so our background and expertise can handle our clients’ needs. We hope the Lane Group is the first person our customers think of when any problem arises – from changing a light bulb, to building their new store, or even buying and developing a new piece of land for them.
- Community: Giving back to the communities we work in is very important to us. The better the quality of life is in the communities we work in, the better chances our clients, tenants, and our own company have at being successful. Any way we can help out these communities, we try to.
- Family: Being a family owned, family operated business, we want our tenants and clients to feel like they’re part of our family. Our business succeeds because of the fact that we look to build long business partnerships. We only succeed if our Tenants and Clients succeed, so we share in our customers’ commitment to excellence.
