Matthew oversees all aspects of Solar Art’s strategy and operations with a special focus on growing Solar Art’s brand throughout energy management projects across Southern California.
Matthew has a B.A. in communications from Hofstra University. After graduating from Hofstra in Long Island, New York, he worked in the television industry for 3 years. From there he moved to Los Angeles and continued in writing and production for various television networks.
In late 2000, he was determined to start his own business using his creative talents and relationship building skills. He acquired his first window film company in 2000 (Tint Plus) in Orange County California, in which he transformed the business model of the typical window film company.
In 2009 he became CEO of Solar Art and in mid-2011 to further strengthen his ties within the industry, he acquired a 3M window film dealer Sun-Tech Window Film from Reseda, CA and changed its name to Solar Art.
In 2012, Matthew earned the LEED Green Associate Accreditation. LEED is an internationally recognized green building program. It provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
Matthew is also a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), a membership organization comprised of some of the most elite and successful young entrepreneurs in America.
With strategic acquisitions in place and a growing need for energy conservation and sustainability he has positioned Solar Art to remain the leader in the window film industry today and for years to come.
