Our Continued Growth
In 2000, we founded Specialty Finishes, a carpentry company, to complement our painting services. In 2001, we opened an office in Ft. Myers, Florida. In 2010, we acquired the assets of Minker Construction, a general contractor and construction management company. In 2018, we opened our office in Brandon, FL. Our corporate headquarters in Newark, Delaware supports these companies. We have over 300 employees serving over 1,000 projects at our four locations.
Since much of the company leadership has deep roots in athletics, we feel competition is naturally one of the key ingredients to our success. The hidden competition is never discussed nor used to slow employee growth. Instead, we use positive encouragement to help employees reach full potential. Competition also fuels our drive to succeed with complex projects. We find solutions by overcoming obstacles and deterring excuses.
