Dave DeMay's Bio
Dave is a results oriented leader overseeing KAST’s strategic growth. Dave pursues a “value added approach” to working with KAST’s clients providing leadership and solutions throughout the preconstruction and construction phases. Dave’s focus is building long term relationships with all of KAST’s clients.
Dave’s deep ties to the community have made him a highly sought after industry resource. Dave’s 18 years of industry experience includes a wide spectrum of market sectors, specifically; hospitality, office, industrial, country club, multi-family, municipal and retail.
Dave received his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Auburn University and serves on a variety of local boards. Dave is additionally involved in several community and charitable organizations.
Jim Rhinehart's Bio
Jim serves KAST as a Project Executive leading multiple project teams in the Southeast Florida region on large scale projects including high rise, office, educational, municipal, and tenant improvement. He is a South Florida native and has worked in the local engineering and construction field since 1992. A natural builder and leader, Jim pursued and earned degrees in engineering, management, and construction from General Motors Institute and Florida International University. Jim loves to figure out how to materialize visions into reality and really enjoys doing this for his clients. He is equally passionate about creating great experiences in the building process, including for the teams of builders he leads, and he spends most of his time coaching his teams, injecting humor and positivity, and pursuing operational improvements to smooth out the historically rough road of construction. Jim is a devoted husband and father of three young children. He loves to serve and volunteers with his church, as a facilities board member with the Palm Beach County Food Bank, and as an assistant coach with the PGA First Tee program. In his spare time, Jim loves to get hands-on with his drive to build and can be found getting dusty late into the evenings making things in his woodshop.
Matt Still's Bio
Matt serves as Project Executive overseeing multiple projects and project teams across KASTs south east Florida region. Matt provides leadership and experience to several project teams while overseeing some of KASTs largest and most complex projects including high rise residential and hospitality projects. Matt brings over twenty years of big project experience to his clients and to his project teams resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction though exceptional quality and performance. In addition to his project responsibilities, Matt serves as a member of KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people. Matt has a bachelor’s degree in building construction from the Rinker School at the University of Florida.
Mike Neal's Bio
Mike has served the construction industry since 1979. Throughout his 37 year career Mike has built landmark projects throughout Florida and across the United States. Mike’s strength as a leader lies in building cohesive high performing teams and lasting relationships with his clients.
Prior to joining KAST as CEO, Mike held executive posts at several ENR Top 100 construction management firms and has a successful track record in executing “controlled profitable growth” strategies in the construction industry. Mike is responsible for KASTs strategic growth initiatives, building KASTs client base, geographic expansion and market sector diversification.
Mike received his Bachelors of Building Construction from the University of Florida. He is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida (CGC 150561) and is involved in service to the construction industry and the community through his efforts in charitable fundraising efforts and board memberships.
Mike Macdonald's Bio
Mike serves as Project Executive overseeing multiple projects and project teams across KASTs south east Florida region. Mike provides leadership and experience to several project teams while overseeing some of KASTs largest and most complex projects including the $350 million dollar One West Palm project which will be the tallest structure in West Palm Beach. Mike brings over twenty five years of big project experience to his clients and to his team which have resulted in successful execution of each project Mike has responsibility for. In addition to his project responsibilities, Mike serves as a member of KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people.
Modesto Millo's Bio
Mo oversees KASTs strategic growth initiatives in Miami-Dade County. Mo brings over 24 years of experience to KAST. As Vice President of Operations for KAST's Miami Office, Mr. Millo works closely with KAST's preconstruction team to provide operational planning on all new projects. His involvement continues through the construction phase, supporting and guiding the construction team to ensure success at all levels.
Page McKee's Bio
Page oversees KASTs strategic growth initiatives in central and southwest Florida. Page brings over 37 years of leadership experience to KAST. He has served as a senior construction industry executive in the Tampa market for the last 20 years. This local knowledge and experience provides page with extensive local knowledge as well as deep personal ties to the community and subcontractor relationships. Page received his Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from Auburn University and is involved in the Tampa Bay community through his involvement in several community and charitable organizations and boards.
Roger Whitman's Bio
Roger brings 24 years of experience to KAST Construction. Roger oversees all of KAST’s financial controls, risk management, information technology and accounting areas with a critical eye on control, consistency and continuous improvement to all areas of KAST’s business platform.
Prior to joining KAST, Roger served as controller and CFO for local and regional construction firms.
Roger graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University and is involved in a variety of local charitable and civic organizations. He is very active in CFMA and has recently been recognized as the CFO of the Year by the South Florida Business Journal.
Sean Ouellette's Bio
Sean’s role as Senior VP & Division Managers for KAST's Tampa unit, is to assure consistency and continuity of process across KAST's operating platform. Sean is an analytical problem solver with 17 years of construction experience who has spent several years in the field earning progressively responsible roles on a variety of project types. Thoroughly experienced in all project phases from initiation, purchasing, and planning through execution, monitoring, and control leading to successful closing. Detailed planner driven to achieve continuous improvement through creative solutions.
Sean Martin's Bio
Sean serves as Project Executive overseeing multiple projects and project teams in KASTs south east Florida region. At any given time Sean provides leadership and experience to over $250 MM in projects located in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. With over seventeen years of hands on experience, Sean works hand in hand with KASTs clients, preconstruction services team and on site teams to assure a seamless and successful transition from the planning phase to the completion phase of each project he has oversite for. As Project Executive Sean is responsible operational excellence for each of his projects along with maintaining strong relationships with his clients. Sean is a member of KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people. Sean received a Business Degree from the University of Florida and is a Certified General Contractor CGC1513863.
Zach Young's Bio
As President, Zach’s mission is to create a healthy culture that promotes a positive, people first environment. Helping and watching people grow personally and professionally is Zach’s greatest joy, along with providing second mile service for Kast’s clients. Zach’s diverse background in construction and development puts him in the ideal position to understand the client’s needs, priorities, and expectations.
As part of the Executive team, he helps to shape and implement Kast’s culture, strategic vision, and geographic expansion. He works closely with preconstruction, business development, and Kast’s strategic services departments to develop training initiatives, continuous improvement opportunities, and understand the shifting dynamics of the industry as a whole. Zach is also responsible for all aspects of operations to include project staffing and the execution and performance of Kast projects during the construction phase. Zach places a heavy emphasis on building relationships with trade partners and fostering a collaborative environment on all Kast projects with the owner and design team. Zach received his degree from Florida State University and is a State Licensed General Contractor (CGC1518299) and LEED Accredited professional.

Chandler Aden's Bio
Chandler is responsible for leading KAST’s preconstruction and technical service departments. Chandler oversees a large in house team of preconstruction and technical services professionals with the capabilities of providing a wide array of services including conceptual budgets, life cycle cost analysis, value engineering, scheduling, trade packaging and purchasing, and B.I.M. modeling. Chandler brings over 14 years of industry experience to KAST. Chandlers experience is across a wide array of market sectors including hospitality, municipal, commercial, industrial, residential, senior living healthcare and education. Chandler received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Building Construction at the University of Florida. He is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida CGC1516776, a Certified Roofing Contractor in the State of Florida CCC1329688 and is active in several charitable organizations.
David Zorrilla's Bio
David is responsible for leading KAST’s preconstruction and technical service departments. David oversees a large in house team of preconstruction and technical services professionals with the capabilities of providing a wide array of services including conceptual budgets, life cycle cost analysis, value engineering, scheduling, trade packaging and purchasing, and B.I.M. modeling. David brings over 15 years of industry experience to KAST. David’s experience is across a wide array of market sectors including hospitality, municipal, commercial, industrial, residential, senior living healthcare and education. David received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the M.E. Rinker, Sr., School of Building Construction at the University of Florida.
Kristine Retetagos's Bio
Kristine is responsible for leading KAST’s preconstruction and technical service department for KAST's Tampa Unit. Kristine received her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and he Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in Building, Design, and Construction (LEED AP BD+C). Kristine provides leadership to KAST’s estimating and technical services group through her “hands-on approach” and extensive experience in multiple market sectors including high rise residential, multifamily, hospitality, senior living, commercial and retail.

Alex Cervera's Bio
Alex grew up in the Kansas City area. He attended the University of Florida where he received a BS degree in Civil Engineering and an MS degree in Civil Construction Engineering.
Alex began his career as a General Contractor doing large commercial construction projects including office buildings, data centers, and high-rise residential projects. Over his first 14 years, Alex constructed over $1 Billion and over 3 Million SF in commercial construction projects located in 11 different cities in 8 different states. Alex currently serves in the role of Project Executive for KAST’s Tampa Business Unit where he oversees multiple projects in the Tampa/St Petersburg region such as ONE St. Petersburg, a $140MM 42-story high-rise condo project in downtown St. Petersburg, FL while providing his leadership to multiple project teams in southwest Florida. Alex is a member of KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people.
Diana Manning Yankee's Bio
Diana has over twenty years of commercial construction experience in South Florida. She combines her construction experience with a legal education to mitigate construction risks and deliver safe, high quality, successful projects.
Diana was born to a military family and grew up in seven states and two foreign countries. After graduating from high school in England, Ms. Yankee studied architecture but soon turned to construction. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida and later returned to UF during the construction recession to also earn a law degree.
In her early career, Diana worked on iconic South Florida projects including the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach, the Jade Ocean Condominium in Sunny Isles, the Santa Maria Condominium and the Four Seasons Tower in Miami. Recently, Ms. Yankee led Kast’s team building Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building - 100 Las Olas - a 47-story hotel/condominium tower and serves as Project Executive leading multiple project teams for KASTs Miami Business Unit. Diana also sits on KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people.
Eric Plotke's Bio
Eric is responsible for constructability reviews, logistics, field staff planning and overall field staff performance on all KAST projects.
During his 17 year career at Whiting Turner, and since joining KAST in early 2005, Eric has delivered a long and distinguished list of major projects. In mid and high rise residential, he has constructed over a thousand units including a 250 unit, state of the art, assisted living facility.
Eric’s retail experience includes over 2 million square feet of premium retail space; The Mall at Wellington Green, Bloomingdales at Aventura, Sawgrass Mills Mall phase 2 and 3, and various other large scale retail projects.
Eric brings a tremendous team attitude to all of his responsibilities and he is an
integral component in the overall management of KAST.

Lanette Carter's Bio
Lanette has worked as a controller in the construction industry for over 15 years. All of her experience has been with ENR Top 400 firms. As KAST’s corporate Controller Lanette is responsible for and has oversight of all of KASTs financial accounting functions including payables, receivables, quarterly financial reporting and audit/compliance matters. Lanette oversees KAST’s accounting team who have responsibility for the timeliness and accuracy of the financial reporting for the company and each of its projects. The team accomplishes its objectives by coordinating with clients, subcontractors and Kast’s Project Management staff. Lanette graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Georgia Southern.

Cindy Perih's Bio
As KAST’s Vice President of Human Resources, Cindy manages the most valuable asset of any organization: people. Cindy oversees recruitment, selection, employee relations, compliance, and benefits. She is also responsible for providing vision and leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies and initiatives.
Larry Weidmann's Bio
Larry serves as Corporate Director of Quality Control for KAST Construction. Larry has one of the most challenging jobs in the firm as he has literally been charged with changing the standard for quality in the industry through his work at KAST. Larry and his team of quality managers stationed in KASTs regional offices located in Tampa, Miami and West Palm Beach have “re-invented” the way KAST delivers projects. We have turned the model “upside down” with an intense focus on document and specification review, approach to inserting quality check points at each step of the construction process and on creating a “culture of quality” throughout the organization as well as with the subcontractors and suppliers we do business with. As a direct result of Larry’s tenacity and passion for “doing it right”, KAST is consistently delivering projects to our customers with zero punch list items on high end residential projects, hospitality projects and office buildings. Larry brings over twenty years of quality management experience to our project teams resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction though the delivery of exceptional quality and performance. In addition to his project responsibilities, Larry serves as a member of KASTs senior management team with responsibilities for strategic planning and growth, process improvement and development of KASTs people. Larry has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of Georgia.
Patrick Murrin's Bio
Patrick leads KASTs safety compliance across the state of Florida. Patrick leads a large team of on-site safety managers and directors in KASTs regional offices located in Tampa, Miami and West Palm Beach. Patrick and his team are highly involved in the planning and execution of safe work practices on each of KASTs projects across the state. Patrick is additionally responsible for training all of KASTs project managers and superintendents in OSHA 10, 30 and 100 hour certifications and creating a “Culture of Safety” on each of KASTs projects. KAST currently boasts an industry leading EMR of .3 which is only one of many indicators of KASTs and Patrick’s commitment to having the safest company in the industry.
Ray Bernard's Bio
Ray serves as General Superintendent for KASTs Tampa Business Unit. He oversees and provides oversite, guidance and support to each of KASTs projects which are located in Tampa, St Petersburg, Sarasota and Orlando. Ray provides support, knowledge, and guidance on all southwest Florida projects starting in the preconstruction phase and continuing to final completion. He facilitates in preparing estimates, project schedules, staging and logistics plans which become the basis for KASTs project plan.
On an ongoing and regular basis, Ray visits each of KASTs west coast and central Florida jobsites meeting with KASTs project teams, owners, architects and subcontractors to assure that the initial project plan remains on track and facilitating operational excellence. His intense focus on building strong cohesive teams and promoting teamwork results in high performing teams, projects that are completed on time and within budget, and exceptional quality resulting in client satisfaction.
Ray has been in the construction industry since 1989. Throughout his career, Ray has successfully delivered some of the most iconic projects throughout the eastern United States. Ray is a member of KASTs senior management team and participates in the firms strategy and business planning efforts.
Rob Sloyer's Bio
As Director of KASTs Technical Services Department, Rob oversees the application of state of the art software and hardware integrating which he integrates into the way that KAST delivers its services to our customers. Robs previous field experience shapes his use of such technology to assure that it is useful, beneficial and practical for use by KASTs on site project teams. Rob also has a keen focus on shaping KASTs technology platform to assure that through technology, all of the services provided by KAST add value to its customers.
