Bobby Gosser 's Bio
Born and raised in North Little Rock, Bobby began his tenure with Baldwin & Shell in 1987, working as an estimator, moving to project coordinator and then division manager. His out-of-the-box approach to problem solving quickly moved him up to a board of directors’ position in 1999, and he was named President of the Central Arkansas Team in 2014. In 2021, Bobby was named President Elect and will become President & CEO January 2022. Bobby attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He gives back to his hometown by serving on the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce board and the Rotary Club. He has served as a North Little Rock School Board member, YMCA board, Young Life board and a host of community efforts. Bobby is also very involved at New Life Church Greater Little Rock. He and his wife, Donna, have four children, Trey, Alex, McKenzie and Dean.
Jim Minor's Bio
Jim has been with Baldwin & Shell Construction Company since 1995 but because of his father’s association with the company since the late 1940’s, Jim has had Baldwin & Shell Construction in his heart and head since birth. He has worked as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and as a Senior Project Manager. Jim’s consistent dedication to oversight in project management led him to become the Vice President of the Northwest Arkansas Team. This also led him to be appointed to the Board of Directors in 2016. The amount of pride in saying that he is part of Baldwin & Shell cannot be over stated, but he is most proud of being characterized as a family man. He lives in Springdale, Arkansas with his wife Rebecca and their two sons, Thomas and Samuel.
Nick Copas's Bio
Nick Copas joined the firm in 2003 while working in field construction and attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock studying Construction Management and Business. In 2008, Nick transferred to project management and cost estimating which ultimately led to the creation of Baldwin & Shell's Industrial Services Division. In 2014, Nick was promoted to Vice President of Industrial and Structural Services where he reintroduced Baldwin & Shell to the manufacturing sector and developed more than 30 new private sector clients from 2014-2016. In addition to generating new business, Nick successfully executed the firm's first joint venture contract and was responsible for securing and completing the largest design build, Industrial and self-performed services contracts since the inception of the Company. Nick has been instrumental in expanding Baldwin & Shell's business beyond the borders of Arkansas as well as introducing Baldwin & Shell into new markets such as the defense and energy sectors. Nick was promoted to Division President in 2017 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2019.
Nick is an Arkansas Business 40 under 40 honoree, graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock, and was previously recognized as one of Arkansas "Next Generation of Philanthropists" having supported the community by serving on multiple non-profit boards and chairing several fundraising events. Nick and his Wife Ann currently reside in Little Rock and are the proud parents to their son David.
Patrick Tenney's Bio
Patrick has been with Baldwin & Shell for more than 25 years. As president of the Northwest Arkansas Team, he’s consistently adding more prestigious projects to the company’s portfolio, including the University of Arkansas’ Vol Walker, a new office complex for Fayetteville’s Walton Arts Center and myriad new schools in the area. He studied architecture at the University of Arkansas and was originally hired as Baldwin & Shell’s preconstruction manager. His determination and hard work paid off when he became the Northwest Arkansas Team president in January 2014. He and his wife, Cindy, have one son, and they live in Springdale.
Rick Terry's Bio
Rick has been with Baldwin & Shell since 1993, when he joined as a Project Coordinator. He’s since risen through the ranks to become president of the company’s Northeast Arkansas Team. With three decades of experience in nearly all facets of construction, Rick is skilled in project management, estimating, construction administration and sales and marketing. He has an eye on the big picture — keeping projects on schedule and maintaining relationships with architects and developers in the region. Rick has membership in the Arkansas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America as well as the Rotary Club of Jonesboro. He and his wife, Cheryl, have two sons and two grandchildren.
Steve Hurley's Bio
With more than two decades of experience in the construction industry, Steve has proven his chops when it comes to project management and estimating. He’s overseen projects as varied as renovations and restorations, athletic facilities and auditoriums, office and retail buildings, and schools. No project is too big or small. He keeps his skills sharp with continuing education and has served as president of Arkansas Chapter 33 of the American Society of Professional Estimators. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Central Arkansas. When he’s not working, he’s involved in outdoor activities like hunting, running and trail riding
