Scope Of Work
This is a state-of-the-art junior high facility serving 850 eigth and ninth graders, which includes a 2,500-seat gymnasium.
This junior high school for the Marion School District consists of a cafeteria, library, classrooms, administration areas, and computer and science labs. The HVAC and hot water system make use of geothermal technology to save resources. The gymnasium is 13,344 square feet, equipped for basketball and volleyball with wood flooring, and has 2,500 seats including 518 chair backs. The gym features a walk around concourse, a 607 square foot weight room and a trainer’s room. It also includes concessions, coach offices, two locker rooms, and is fully air conditioned.
