My Name is Jason M Douglas,
I served in the United States army for 18 years and still am currently in the Inactive Readiness Reserves(IRR) awaiting retirement. During my time in the military I served on three deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Columbia. During my time in the service I became a leader, I learned how to treat, teach, and mentor my soldiers; I also learned attention to detail, focus, professionalism, and the ability to operate in very high stress environments. I spent my time active and reserves, which afforded the opportunity to take the time outside of the army to learn new skills, attend college, and learn a few trades.
I have multiple degree's in project management, business management, and computer science. I am currently a registered surveyor in training with the Florida department of Agriculture, and attending classes to obtain my degree in Land Surveying. I currently hold a wide variety of certifications in many disciplines from building structures to crane operations and am even a Florida certified rigger. I have been involved in a massive amount of construction projects, from a simple one story block home, to a multi-million dollar corporate office for one of the largest cellular companies in the world. I have personally built homes, cell phone towers, condominiums, and a wide variety of other structures.
I began working for M. Mooney and associates at the end of 2015 as an IT guy and a junior Draftsman, through the years I made way up the ranks, learning the practices of land surveying and how to operate the business to its full capacity. After two years as operations Manager, I was offered the opportunity to purchase the company and I ran with it.
