Our Story

For more than 30 years, C.T. Taylor Company has offered businesses quality service and workmanship in the fields of masonry and concrete. Since our establishment in 1977, we have steadily grown and diversified, gaining solid, proven experience in structural steel erection, and carpentry, with specialized expertise in refrigerated warehousing and pre-engineered buildings. C.T. Taylor Company offers competitive estimates on current or future projects, and will provide our own manpower in any of our sub trades, or bid your project in its entirety as a general contractor.

As construction trends change, C. T. Taylor is adapting to meet these ever changing needs. With technology advances, we have incorporated these trends into our construction practices.

Starting with the main office, we have a centralized computer systems to handle all aspects of the construction process. Using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate software, we are able to digitally perform takeoffs, providing highlighted, job specific, printouts for both field and owner use, perform CSI based project estimation, using current locally based pricing, with access to historical data, scan and save all invoices, produce payments and waivers electronically for accounts receivable, and accurately prepare billings for accounts payable. This system allows the integration of our systems and the OAKS Capital Improvements (OAKS CI), a cradle-to-grave construction management system for State of Ohio-sponsored capital improvement projects.

Supporting these emerging technology trends, our Project Managers, Project Superintendents and Engineers are equipped with smart phones, tablets, laptop computers, digital camera and data software capable of maintaining as-built drawings, photos, bulletins and changes, accessible by all, in a Cloud based environment. Our construction projects have the capability of wireless communications and real-time construction cameras, allowing a constant monitoring of progress as well as time-lapse videos.

Our Quality Control Director has access to all the necessary files for the jobs. At a moment’s notice, he is able to access all drawings, specifications, addenda, bulletins, submittals and photos, regardless of his current location, and able to assist both the owners and contractors. This saves time, money and produces quality end results.
