Dennis provides an incredible scope of construction experience, from effective preconstruction planning to implementation of construction methods. His focus includes strategic initiatives, as well as building and fostering client relationships. Dennis is a people person, and his value-driven business approach has led to steady organizational growth during his 30+ years at DAVIS. He’s a highly accomplished operations leader — and a pretty decent surfer.

Dominic approaches his work with an open mind while stimulating a collaborative and solutions-driven environment. As a leader of DAVIS’ Integrated Marketing + Development (IM+D) group, he works in conjunction with DAVIS teams and external business partners to align our efforts with specific needs of projects – all the while balancing the broader objectives of DAVIS. Dominic’s operations experience managing complex and large-scale projects translates directly into preconstruction services he leads each day. Viewing every element of a project holistically, he proactively identifies and solves project challenges ahead of the curve. 

Dominic’s operations, preconstruction and marketing + communications experience has provided him the opportunity to work with a broad set of teams and unique skill sets. He has felt fortunate to incorporate marketing into his everyday role, helping broaden his foundation and bring new perspective to DAVIS and the construction industry. Collectively, Dominic’s experience has helped him find commonalities and build a better tomorrow for DAVIS employees, business partners, subcontractors and the local community.

As President and CEO since 1988, Jim is truly the heart of the company, and views each and every person at DAVIS as family. For over 30 years, his foresight, intelligence, and genuine passion have helped transform a small family business into a nationally recognized construction leader. Jim’s pride in the company’s reputation for honesty and integrity is absolute; a reputation supported by the belief that corporate responsibility extends well beyond the bottom line. He consistently demonstrates this by his commitment to improving the quality of life for all employees and their families, as well as the community where we live and work through his involvement with the National Building Museum, Samaritan Inns, and the DC Students Construction Trades Foundation. 

Jim strategically oversees operations and key project development, exemplifying teamwork, and his commitment to quality and excellence in service. As a fourth generation construction industry leader, Jim reflects the principles of hard work and innovation in everything he does. His well-honed instincts are invaluable, and his experience and perspective are essential as the company moves forward. His pride in continuing the good work his father began is abundantly clear and inspirational to all who work at DAVIS.

Jon is actively engaged early in project planning, sharing his expertise on feasibility and construction methodology. He knows his stuff, and his experience in managing extremely technical building projects and high-end interior spaces has given him an extensive blend of knowledge from which to build budgets and provide project solutions.

He understands current market pricing conditions, and his highly detail-oriented nature make him an invaluable asset during the preconstruction process. Jon excels at identifying the materials and processes that add the most value to meet project goals. His approachable nature makes this process — which is often stressful — an easily accomplished task. 

Starting as an intern in 1999, Jon is the first and only DAVIS employee to begin as an intern and ultimately work his way to Vice President. Jon has a knack for seeing potential and is a DAVIS “champion” for ongoing recruiting efforts at Catholic University – helping funnel the best and brightest interns and employees.

Jon can often be seen working with his team on numerous Jubilee Housing and DCBIA volunteer projects. He values these opportunities to strengthen relationships with others in the community, as well as improve his carpentry skills.

Kevin has been instrumental in establishing DAVIS’ position as a construction leader for government agencies and public sector clients. A DAVIS veteran of nearly 20 years, he not only ensures outstanding project quality, but he also helps his clients navigate the government contract and lease process. Whether for a landlord, GSA representative, tenant agency, or designer, Kevin and his team have the experience and insight to identify specific solutions unique to government projects.

Having delivered over 10 million square feet of GSA tenant space, Kevin's technical know-how is essential to the success of these projects. Confidentiality and trust are as vital as his technical expertise, and Kevin goes the extra mile to ensure all components are addressed, including blast resistance, sustainable construction, and security requirements.

Steve is well regarded for his accurate, value-focused evaluations of our base building construction and renovation projects. Together with his team, Steve leads the competitive bidding process, developing price proposals for negotiated projects. Highly goal-oriented, Steve is proactively involved in the design process during preliminary budget development and conceptual estimating. His industry knowledge and technical expertise ensure that initial estimates are thorough, and clients are provided with the data to make informed decisions.

With over two decades of construction experience and a long track record of planning and executing complex projects, Meghan is prepared for any job. She provides expertise and direction to our operations teams, and confers with them at all stages of development to enhance processes. Meghan is passionate about working with team members to find efficiencies and improve business practices.  She uses her technical precision and sharp attention to detail to meet any challenge and find a solution, and that fearlessness makes Meghan an invaluable part of DAVIS' mission.

Michelle shapes and implements our strategy, taking into consideration past and present environmental factors. As the standard-bearer for our financial integrity and credibility, Michelle oversees day-to-day fiscal operations, providing incisive analysis, forecasts, and strategies that are critical to our business growth. An astute leader, Michelle and her staff provide first-rate expertise and customer service internally, as well as externally to our clients, subcontractors, and consultants. With DAVIS for more than 20 years, her vast operations knowledge, calm sensibility, and logical consistency are incomparable, and equally valued by both DAVIS and our industry partners. Michelle is an active member of the Greater Washington Chapter of CFMA and currently serves on the programs committee.
