Donna Gulden knows the insulation business!  She grew up working in her parents’ business and went on to become owner of Homeco Insulation and R&J Insulation.  Donna learned many lessons about operating a successful business from her parents.  She is the driving force behind the core values of the firm: honesty, integrity, customer service and quality.

Donna has successfully built on her parents’ vision in the past 24 years.  She has launched Vesta Firestopping to meet the diverse needs of their customers.  Donna has built a high-quality team by focusing on values, experience and training.  Her commitment to customer satisfaction is apparent in every project. 

Donna is a 3M certified installer of proper installation procedures for Penetration Seal.  She is a member and past board member of the Association of Women Contractors.  Donna enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. 

Greg Gulden has built an impressive base of insulation and firestopping knowledge over the past 24 years.  He readily shares that expertise with project managers and architects who are trying to overcome design issues or resolve project concerns.  Greg’s approach to projects is based on “doing it right the first time”. 

Greg enjoys building relationships as the primary sales person and manager of field operations.  He proactively and collaboratively addresses any concerns that arise in the field.  Greg ensures that installations meet the quality expectations. 

Greg is a 3M certified installer of proper installation procedures for Penetration Seal, Through Penetration, Flexible Wraps and Construction Joints.  Greg is also the President of Mud Duck Boat Company, Inc.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. 

Scott Retterath joined Homeco Insulation in July of 2018.  He brings with him over 20 years experience in the Project Management and Estimating field.

Tom is a great addition to our estimating team.  He comes with extensive firestopping and curtainwall insulation experience.

John began his construction career in 2006 as a Sales Representative in building materials. During his tenure in material distribution he has become certified in 3M FPP (Fire Protection Products). In addition to 3M FPP he has also been a materials technical expert in Air Barrier, Fiberglass Batt & Blown Insulation, Sprayed Polyurethane Foam, Acoustical Board and Industrial/Mechanical Insulation. During this time John has been a hands-on part of preconstruction, submittal, install, and final inspection phases of many projects in the Twin Cities as well as Northern IA, Northern MN, WI and the Dakotas.
John recently left his position in Sales at APi Distribution to pursue the opportunity to work with Homeco Insulation in the roll of Business Development. His primary focus will be Firestopping and Air Barrier installation systems. John is continuing his technical expertise through the Air Barrier Association of America education courses including Self-Adhered and Fluid Applied Air Barrier Systems.

He is currently married with 3 children residing in the north metro area. His hobbies include fishing, golf, cabin, landscaping and family time.

Before joining the Homeco Team in September, 2016 as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, Mary had over 25 years in Bookkeeping, Payroll and HR Coordination. Her accounting skills have helped create streamlined processes and she thoroughly enjoys assisting her customers and co-workers. Mary’s hobbies include spending time at their family’s cabin, watching Minnesota sports teams, cooking, and being outdoors.
