Brandon Yezbick's Bio
Brandon Yezbick is Barton Malow Holdings’ Vice President of Finance and Continuous Improvement. Brandon began his career at Barton Malow as a cost engineer involved and helped to launch Barton Malow’s SAP implementation. In his current role as Vice President of Finance and Continuous improvement, Brandon oversees Barton Malow’s alignment efforts, creating consistency between cost and schedule on all projects. Brandon provides Barton Malow’s stakeholders with the tools to drive project performance and facilitate data-driven decisions while building a culture focused on increasing efficiency. He is also a part of the initiative to combine LEAN and Continuous Improvement efforts to promote their usage in Project Controls.
In addition to leading Barton Malow’s Finance and Continuous Improvement initiative, Brandon also dedicates his time to industry organizations. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute, LEAN Construction Institute, and the American Association of Cost Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Chuck Binkowski's Bio
Chuck Binkowski is the Chief Operating Officer of Barton Malow Holdings, where he works each day to position Barton Malow for industry growth and transformation. With a focus on ridiculously superior execution, Chuck leads Barton Malow team members to elevate customer service, build relationships, and deliver results on the most complex of construction challenges.
With a career at Barton Malow that spans nearly four decades, Chuck began his career in the construction trades in 1981 and had roles as a laborer, carpenter, and cement finisher and later advanced to General Superintendent. Before becoming COO, Chuck served as General Manager of Barton Malow’s concrete operations, Director of Industrial, Vice President of Energy, and Senior Vice President of Barton Malow’s Central Region.
Chuck regularly gives back to the industry, serving on negotiation committees for laborers, carpenters, operators, and cement finishers. For over six years, he has participated in leadership roles for The Association of Union Contractors (TAUC). He is currently on the Board of Directors serving as the Second Vice President on the Executive Committee. Chuck also sits on the Board of Directors for Life Remodeled in Detroit, Michigan.
Dana Galvin Lancour's Bio
As Barton Malow Holdings’ Vice President of Branding and Communications, Dana provides creative and strategic direction to the Barton Malow Family of Companies’ brands while overseeing a talented team of marketing and communication professionals across North America. She brings a vision that inspires her team to continually strengthen Barton Malow’s brand, reputation, and unique approach to marketing Barton Malow’s services.
Dana is a certified professional services marketer (CPSM) and dedicated member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), acquiring the prestigious Fellow designation in 2013 after serving in various local, regional, and national capacities within the organization. Dana regularly speaks as a subject matter expert on the topics of marketing, communications, social media, and employee engagement.
A lifelong Michigan native and passionate promoter of the Detroit Region, Dana is a proud graduate of Leadership Detroit (Class XXXVII) and an active member of the Detroit Economic Club. Dana obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Communications and an MBA from Wayne State University.
Dave Price's Bio
Dave Price is Senior Vice President of Barton Malow Builders’ Southeast Region. Dave’s experience in the construction industry spans more than three decades. As the leader in the Southeast Region, Dave oversees the Orlando, Tampa, and North Carolina regional offices, driving the growth that each office plays in the overall success of Barton Malow Builders.
Dave has been recognized for his exceptional skill as a builder throughout his career, including receiving the National Exchange Scholarship Award which allowed him to travel to the US from his native England and begin his career in construction. Today, Dave continues to be a team builder, leading the Southeast Region through its largest period of growth and building iconic projects such as Daytona Rising, the Mori Hosseini Student Union at Embry-Riddle University, and the Orlando City Soccer Stadium.
Dave also dedicates his time to participating in the Orlando community and is an active member of the Orlando Economic Development Commission, helping to bring opportunities to his local community.
Don Davis's Bio
Don Davis serves as Barton Malow Holdings’ Senior Vice President of Strategy. Don has spent over three decades with Barton Malow, dedicating his career to building healthcare projects across the nation. In his current role, Don is devoted to work acquisition and is responsible for Barton Malow’s customer commitment program as well as developing and tracking the company’s business model. Due to his extensive experience in the healthcare sector, Don also leads the healthcare community and business development team, a group of healthcare professionals that span Barton Malow’s business units.
In addition to his commitment to exceptional building, Don devotes his time to sharing his vast knowledge of healthcare and construction by participating in industry organizations such as the American Heart Association of Southeast Michigan.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and serves on the College of Engineering Alumni Board. He remains an avid supporter of the university.
Jeff Baxa's Bio
As Senior Vice President of Barton Malow Builders’ Midwest Region, Jeff provides overall leadership for operations in Michigan and Illinois. Jeff has dedicated his entire 27-year career to building with Barton Malow, beginning as a LEAPs intern. His experience, especially leading Preconstruction, has given Jeff a deep understanding of how to successfully deliver many different projects and contract types. With a focus on safety, he leads his team to provide a superior customer experience that delivers results. Most recently, Jeff has led some of Barton Malow’s most iconic projects, including the Shinola Hotel and Hudsons Site Redevelopment.
Jennifer Sulak Brown's Bio
Jennifer Sulak Brown is Barton Malow Holdings’ Senior Vice President of People and Culture, providing leadership for human resources, marketing, communications and professional development. In her role, Jennifer develops and inspires her team to cultivate a positive and proactive approach to culture and organizational development that contributes to Barton Malow being one of the best companies to work for. Previously, Jennifer served as Vice President of Human Resources where she led a team focused on meeting the company’s workforce goals through the development and execution of leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, talent acquisition and flexible work experiences.
Jennifer also serves as a prominent member of several industry associations including The Construction HR Executive Group, The Association of General Contractors and multiple community organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Madonna University and an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources.
Jon Woodsum's Bio
Jon Woodsum is President of Barton Malow Company. In his role, Jon provides overall leadership and strategic direction for industrial based markets including energy, automotive, manufacturing, industrial process, and self-perform building trades. Jon’s entire professional career has been with Barton Malow Company, where he began as an intern in 1999. After many years of leading projects in the field, Jon was selected to head up an enterprise-wide technology upgrade, positioning him for a supervisory role in IT systems. After seven years in leadership, including two as Vice President of Systems, Jon returned to his true passion within project delivery as Vice President, and eventually Senior Vice President, of the company’s industrial markets.
This diverse background enables Jon to bring a deep understanding of how technology and innovation can be leveraged to increase business performance. His passion for cultivating a highly engaged and intensely collaborative team directly impacts safety, quality, and productivity, resulting in increased value for clients.
Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy. He’s also a founding member of the University of Michigan Construction Board of Advisors and a graduate of Leadership Detroit Class XXXVI.
Lindsey Rem's Bio
Lindsey Rem is Barton Malow Holdings’ Vice President of Systems, providing leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the family of companies. She also leads the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team and the Innovation team. This has led her to establish a cohesive VDC and technology strategy across the company that leverages talent and technology to increase Barton Malow’s competitive advantage. Lindsey began her twenty-year career with Barton Malow as a project engineer, ascending to project manager before becoming a part of the SAP Implementation Team where she helped to perfect transaction processes across the company.
Lindsey obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Letters and Society from the University of Chicago where she was part of the varsity soccer team.
MaryAnn Kanary's Bio
As Barton Malow’s Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, MaryAnn is responsible for our legal, systems, risk management, safety, procurement, and corporate social responsibility teams. A key member of the executive leadership team, MaryAnn provides executive oversight and direction enabling the enterprise to reach its goals, strategies, and priorities consistent with its core purpose and values. MaryAnn began her legal career as a real estate lawyer in private practice and has worked in-house for the last 15 years at Barton Malow as well as publicly traded, international and other privately held companies.
MaryAnn earned a B.A. in Sociology with highest distinction from the University of Michigan where she was a member of the Michigan Marching Band and graduated from Harvard Law School where she was an editor on the Harvard Environmental Law Review. She was a recipient of the 2015 First Chair Rising Star Award and the 2002 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Boston, Inc., Golden Hammer Award and is very involved in the swimming community in southeast Michigan and its diversity and inclusion efforts.
Neal Morton's Bio
Neal Morton serves as Barton Malow Holdings’ Vice President of Safety and Risk Management. Neal is a twenty-year veteran of the construction industry and is currently working to enhance Barton Malow’s risk management program, producing better alignment with our safety initiatives while also leveraging the company’s insurance programs. Neal works tirelessly to help Barton Malow’s goal of building it safe, with no exceptions.
In addition to leading Barton Malow’s Safety and Risk initiatives, Neal dedicates his time to sharing his knowledge with industry organizations by presenting at industry conferences including the Autodesk University, Associated General Contractors In-House Risk Managers Surety and Risk Management, and IRMI Construction Risk conferences.
Neal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Construction Management from the University of Michigan. He has been honored with the Building Design & Construction’s AEC 40 under 40 award.
Ryan Maibach 's Bio
Ryan Maibach is the President and CEO of Barton Malow Holdings. A fourth-generation builder, Ryan spent time in the family business at a young age and chose to pursue a construction engineering degree at Purdue University. Upon completion, Ryan began his career at Barton Malow Company as a project engineer in 1997.
In 2011, Ryan was named President of Barton Malow Company. Since that time, he has expanded the enterprise through rapid alignment, strategic growth, and innovation. With a vision for industry transformation, Ryan leads the Barton Malow Family of Companies through a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement. His passion for making a positive impact on the industry is rivaled only by his unique ability to connect with employees and serve his community.
Ryan’s serves on leadership boards for the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Detroit Children’s Fund, and The Parade Company. Previous honors include Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40, 2010 Engineering Society of Detroit Young Engineer of the Year, and 2009 Building Design & Construction’s 40 Under 40.
Steve Freed's Bio
Steven Freed is Barton Malow Company’s Senior Vice President of Building Trades. In this role, Steve leads our union self-perform teams focused on civil, concrete, structural steel, and general trades/interiors disciplines. The Building Trades team includes specific trade directors, project management, and estimating professionals in addition to roughly 1,000 union tradesmen. Steve also oversees Barton Malow’s Field Services Operations located in Oak Park, which serves as the launching point for Barton Malow’s self-perform work. The Oak Park facility houses our yard operations, resteel fabrication, fleet management, and major equipment services.
Steve brings nearly forty years of experience in the construction industry, including more than fifteen years with Barton Malow. During his tenure, Steve has held a number of positions in project execution and most recently led our Project Controls/Project Risk Management teams. Steve’s hard work has strengthened relationships with our industrial, energy and automotive clients. Steve remains committed to the larger industry community by serving as a management trustee on the BAC2/OP514 Detroit Cement Masons Pension and Vacation funds.
Todd Ketola's Bio
Todd Ketola is the Senior Vice President of Barton Malow Builders’ Central Region, encompassing the Michigan, Maryland, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia regional offices, with a focus on higher education, sports, and healthcare projects. Todd brings over thirty-five years of experience to his role, providing customer satisfaction and guiding projects from start to finish. As a second-generation builder, Todd knows the construction industry inside and out. Todd began his career as a superintendent and spent time working as a project manager before becoming the youngest Vice President in Barton Malow history.
As Vice President, Todd has been instrumental in growing Barton Malow’s higher education portfolio, including several key projects such as the University of Notre Dame Campus Crossroads project. Todd is committed to providing each client with Barton Malow’s full resources to meet their requirements. In addition to leading Barton Malow’s crucial Central region, Todd dedicates his time to the local community, serving as the director of the Associated General Contractors of Michigan.

Somil Shah's Bio
Somil Shah is Barton Malow Company’s Vice President of Finance. Somil brings over twenty years of experience in financial management roles to Barton Malow. As Vice President of Finance, Somil’s aim is to create a collaboration between finance and the rest of the organization, helping Barton Malow achieve its strategic goals by producing successful business plans. Since joining the company in 2018, Somil has led financial reporting, treasury management, accounting, payroll, and project control efforts. He is also responsible for forecasting, business planning, and collaborating with executive leadership.
Somil holds an MBA degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the Detroit College of Business in addition to holding a CPA license. He is dedicated to his local community and sits on the boards of the FME Federal Credit Union, The Hindu Temple of Canton, and Nadanta, Inc.
