Scope Of Work
The Richmond WTP required covers over the finished water basins to improve security and preserve water quality. Construction of the covers included new cast-in-place walls and columns to improve flow dynamics and support the strut-and-panel cover system. Structural improvements to the basin required installation of a micropile foundation support system. To ensure uninterrupted water supply, all work was required to be completed in phases and within a limited seasonal timeframe.
