Since founding HSU Development, Inc. in 1994, Walter Hsu has been actively involved in all aspects of the company and its transformation into one of the area’s most recognizable General Contractors.  Under his leadership, HSU has received several awards for Excellence in Corporate Leadership, as well as, Construction Quality.  Walter earned his MBA in Real Estate and Urban Development from the Kogod School of Business at the American University and undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.  Walter actively mentors youth in Entrepreneurship and is an advisor to multiple companies in the Washington, DC Metro Area.  He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, the former President and current board member of the Associated General Contractors of Metropolitan Washington, DC, and is involved with numerous other community and charitable organizations.  

Chris maintains the customer relationship and satisfaction by ensuring the safety and quality of the project, driving contract execution, tracking the project budget, and summarizing contract performance.  He monitors Project Manager’s planned cost against actual field cost and ensures customer estimates and change orders are properly reviewed and approved.  He guides and reviews Project Manager’s plans and status reports, performs internal project audits, and assists the Superintendents to develop and implement improvement plans, as required.

Randy joined HSU in 1997 and oversees the company's government federal division.  In his crucial role, Randy builds client’s relationships, negotiates contracts, and manages the company’s construction operations.  He oversees the completion of dozens of projects, manages Directors and Project Managers who execute up to 40 projects annually, and ensures that the highest standards of services are consistently delivered.  Randy's management has led to numerous company accolades and awards from our clients.  Randy is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting in the winters and boating in the Chesapeake Bay in the summers.
