Brian A. Cutler's Bio
As President of Loureiro, Brian Cutler is responsible for directing operations, administration, and client relations, as well as achieving the vision, performance objectives, and market strategy of the firm. He retains an active role in a variety of projects that call upon his oversight capacity and extensive expertise. Recognized as a leader in the integration of remediation and redevelopment, he has worked on some of the largest Brownfield redevelopment projects in Connecticut. His work also includes projects throughout the Northeast and Midwest for Fortune 50 corporations, local, state and federal government entities, and a myriad of private entities.
David Fiereck's Bio
As Senior Vice President of Loureiro, David Fiereck is responsible for the overall operations of the Environmental Engineering and Environmental, Health and Safety Divisions of the firm. He has extensive experience in the permitting, design, and installation of industrial wastewater treatment and recycling systems in several areas of the country that range in size from one to several hundred gallons per minute. In the area of site assessments/remediation, he serves as the LEP for some of the largest RCRA corrective action sites in the State of Connecticut. He also specializes in subsurface remediation systems to address contaminated soil, soil vapor, and groundwater.
George Andrews's Bio
As Vice President of Loureiro, George Andrews is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Civil/Survey Division. He is also active in a variety of civil engineering and environmental project roles, including scheduling and supervision of technical personnel, budget evaluation, preparation of progress reports, public presentations, interaction with clients and regulatory agencies, and providing expert testimony. The breadth of projects he has led includes small commercial developments to large-scale city block redevelopments throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.

As Vice President of Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI) Jeff Lower is responsible for directing operations, estimating, project management, engineering staff and client relations for LCI. His construction and engineering experiences are comprised of a broad range of projects in both the public and private sectors, which includes site work, concrete work, roadways, bridges, underground utilities, earth retaining systems, building demolition, concrete foundation and environmental projects. These projects required interaction with clients, public agencies, and the public on a daily basis and ranged in sized from the small to the multi-million dollar projects.

As CEO of Loureiro, Jeffrey Loureiro is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the firm’s strategic plan which is designed to ensure the continued growth, development, and profitability of the organization. He also continues to consult on a variety of projects being undertaken by the company. He has worked on projects throughout the United States as well as internationally for some of the world’s largest corporations, a variety of federal, state and local government entities, and hundreds of clients in the commercial, industrial, residential and retail markets.
Kevin Vidmar's Bio
As Vice President of Loureiro, Kevin Vidmar is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Energy Services Division and the Rhode Island office. He has worked with a wide array of companies throughout the world to help them identify, quantify, and implement energy reduction measures. Over the years, he has held many different manufacturing positions including environmental manager, safety manager, process optimization manager, energy manager, facilities/maintenance manager, and plant manager. He has taken energy reduction projects from concept to full implementation for a myriad of Loureiro clients.
Ryan R. Polizzo's Bio
As Vice President, Ryan Polizzo is responsible for the utilization, profitability, and growth of the Environmental Health and Safety Division. In addition, he will be partnering with other divisions within Loureiro in the interest of developing growth opportunities with our current clients as well as prospective opportunities with other organizations. His primary strengths are team building, customer service, leadership, and business development. As he looks to develop Loureiro’s presence across the country, he will also be actively involved in employee sourcing, evaluation, development, and standard work.
Samuel W. Butcher's Bio
As Vice President of Loureiro, Sam Butcher is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Loureiro’s Massachusetts office with a personal focus on projects that involve assessment and remediation of brownfield properties. He has directed numerous environmental investigations, remedial action planning and implementation, and permitting projects. He has evaluated, developed and designed remedial strategies and provided managerial oversight of numerous multi-million dollar remediation projects in a variety of contaminated media. Mr. Butcher also provides litigation support and consulting services across a wide range of regulatory programs.
Sean A. Crowell's Bio
As Vice President, Sean Crowell is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Loureiro’s North Carolina office. He has experience in site assessment and remediation as well as process engineering and wastewater treatment plant design. He has utilized his technical expertise to develop remediation and process engineering work with clients and regulatory agencies in over 20 US states and is familiar with environmental regulations, permitting and contracting requirements in numerous jurisdictions. In his capacity as Vice President, he leverages his experience along with the exceptional skills of local and national staff to provide Loureiro’s clients with a full suite of Remediation, Industrial Waste Water Treatment, EH&S and other environmental services in the southeast.

Bill Averill's Bio
As Technical Director for Tunxis Laboratories, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Loureiro, Bill Averill is responsible for the overall operation of the laboratory with specific emphasis on quality, efficiency, and ensuring that the clients’ needs are met and exceeded. His laboratory experience includes analysis, method development, and quality control reporting. He has served on several committees including the workgroup that wrote and instituted the Reasonable Confidence Protocols for the State of Connecticut.

As Talent Acquisition Manager for Loureiro, Gayle Alpert is always on the hunt for exceptional talent and works closely with all levels of management to ensure that strong candidates who can deliver value to the company will find a home at Loureiro. She has experience in operations and Human Resource Management, taking on a variety of leadership roles in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500. She has built HR departments for two rapidly growing companies and most recently served as the Head of Corporate Recruiting for an $800 million dollar retail organization prior to joining Loureiro. She has a passion for building successful teams and ensuring there is the right fit, both for skills and culture, with each and every candidate she recruits.
Sandy M. Clavette's Bio
As Director of Human Resources for Loureiro, Sandy Clavette is responsible for directing and administering the Human Resources activities for all Loureiro companies and office locations. Her responsibilities include the development and administration of an employee relations systems, the administration of our employee development program to support the personal and professional development of our staff, and the design and administration of a company-wide process that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, employee retention and change management. Sandy has extensive human resources management experience, which includes policy and program development, employee relations, HRIS implementation and management, compensation and benefits, payroll, and design and management of Affirmative Action Plans.
