Ernie Hanna, a Sr. Principal, has been with GZA for over 30 years and is currently working out of GZA's Philadelphia office. His areas of specialization are geotechnical engineering, the use of geotextiles and trenchless technologies. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Geology at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) and his Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is a professional engineer licensed in NJ, NY and PA.
His professional activities include membership in the American Council of Engineering Companies, American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Club of Philadelphia, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers. He has served in key leadership positions (Board of Directors and Officer Positions) within the various State Chapters for these organizations.
