Scope Of Work
ACC performed the build-out of the much anticipated Tiffany & Co. store at 37 Wall Street - the fourth contract awarded to ACC by the legendary jewelry and luxury goods retailer. This 11,000 square foot space, designed by Yabu Pushelberg and administered by Ted Moudis Associates, is located in the landmark former headquarters of Trust of America Bank, circa 1907, and the complex build-out required diligent adherence to State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) standards.
With local landmark requirements in mind, ACC restored the original marble columns, column capitals and ornate 35-foot high press-mold ceilings of 37 Wall Street to museum quality. Additionally ACC custom built a dramatic curved glass center staircase and museum-quality optical glass walls designed to showcase the jewels in their best light. The design highlight of the store is the 75 foot mesh and crystal sculpture suspended from the ceiling by lighting designer Ingo Maurer. The store was completed in five months and unveiled at an exclusive Founding Ceremony attended by hundreds of glamorous patrons, politicians, civic leaders, and international press.
