Rob's career in commercial construction began in the U.S. Army in 1972. He worked his way up the career ladder, and became a project manager at Federal Contracting, where he worked for over 15 years. When Federal Contracting became Bryan Construction, Rob stayed on as a Senior Project Manager. Knowing the business inside and out, Rob decided he would like to test his entrepreneurial skills and open his own business. In 1998, he and Brad Hix founded Gateway Construction Company.
In 2001, Rob decided expand a small construction consulting business he had been running on the side. Thus, CMS, Inc. became what it is today - a reliable and trustworthy commercial sub contracting company. Rob has grown CMS, Inc. from a small start-up to a firm that bills out millions of dollars each year.
