Scope Of Work
Classroom / Administration Addition and Childcare Expansion: 118,796 SF addition to existing facility that is the government’s primary training institution for officers and support personnel of the U.S. foreign affairs community, preparing American diplomats and other professionals to promote U.S. foreign affairs interests overseas and in Washington, DC. The facility is on a 72-acre campus setting and provides more than 500 training courses to more than 30,000 enrollees a year. The addition supports and accommodates a variety of administrative, instructional, multipurpose and storage spaces. This project also included construction of a 14,400 SF detached Childcare Center, which earned a LEED Silver certification.
