Scope Of Work
This $38 million expansion sits adjacent to an existing courthouse that members of Moss originally constructed in 1990. The 150,000 SF structure stands five stories tall and features courtrooms, jury quarters, improved inmate access and holding cells, administrative offices and secured parking areas for judges and government officials. As construction manager, Moss provided several months of preconstruction planning services to ensure that all budget, schedule and logistical items were addressed prior to commencing work in the field. Field crews communicated regularly with owner representatives and adjacent business owners to ensure minimal disruption while coordinating work around existing facilities. The assignment represents one of several projects that Moss is constructing for this public agency under a five-year continuing contract.
