Scope Of Work
As construction manager, Moss was responsible for coordinating the replacement/upgrade of all exterior glazing systems, replacement of all balcony rails with new glass rails and the re-roofing of the guestroom tower. Additionally, all tower guestroom HVAC systems were upgraded to include new vertical fan coil units, associated supply and return piping, new roof-top chilled water system to include two new chillers and distribution piping and new cooling towers. New smoke evacuation systems associated with the guestroom tower were also included as part of this project. All work took place while maintaining operations of adjacent guestroom and public spaces. The $15.0 million renovation project was completed on schedule and within budget. It represented one of seven successfully completed projects over a 24-month period for Blackstone/LXR.
