Daniel G. Corker, Jr.'s Bio
Danny’s experience in the construction industry spans over 30 years. He combines the experience of sub-contractor, material supplier, tradesman and most recently General Contractor. This knowledge affords him the unique ability to understand all aspects of the project from beginning to end.
Over these years he has developed relationships with C-level colleagues, top-notch architects, designers, highly skilled workers, and supply chain experts. This approach provides a solid leadership foundation for the company, ensuring high standards of quality. He believes that relationships, clear communication, and innovative processes are important for long-term progress. Through these strong partnerships, Danny is dedicated to growing RVA Construction by expanding the company to include new areas of construction.

Kenneth W. Griffith's Bio
Ken’s is the executive lead of all projects at RVA Construction, Inc., bringing 25+ years of experience in the construction industry. Overall, he evaluates and enforces company-wide programs for quality, safety, and on-time delivery. He also defines each purpose and scope, then allocates resources to support each job. Project superintendents report to him daily, which gives him a bird’s eye view of all activity and allows him to make strategic decisions.
Ken’s expertise spans across many industries including commercial, hospitality, institutional, medical, and retail. Ken is Registered Land Disturber (RLD) certified. Ken’s skills as accomplished superintendent on job sites is reflected in his ability to balance customer feedback and project goals with the details to deliver the best outcome.

Eric A. Smith's Bio
Eric’s responsibility is to ensure overall project quality and adherence to good construction practices and methods. He achieves this is achieved by understanding the owner’s goals and assisting the construction team to deliver a safe and well-built facility. Eric has 20+ years of construction experience, with the last 5 years serving as the manager of facilities and construction for Kings Dominion Amusement Park.
Recent clients also include Blue Ridge Capital Refrigerated Building & Bakery in Lebanon, Pennsylvania , the FBI in Fredericksburg, Virginia Beach Field House in Virginia Beach, Glen Allen Community Church, Hampton Inn in Chester, and Heritage Green Assisted Living in Richmond, Virginia.
Eric is accustomed to directing complex projects from the ground up to fully operational status. He is a goal-oriented individual with strong leadership capabilities, who is organized, highly motivated, and a detail directed problem solver. He has a proven ability to work in complex situations and keep focused on the critical path.
He is a past member of the International Brick Layers Union, a VSHE-certified constructor, and a pre-engineered metal building installer.
Karie Brooks's Bio
Karie Brooks, our Marketing Manager is one of our newest employees here at RVA Construction, Inc. After graduating from Towson University in 1998 with a degree in Communications, Karie became a graphic designer and marketing specialist for several small businesses in the Baltimore area. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and significant freelance experience, she eventually started up her own graphic design business in Richmond, Virginia in 2004.
Throughout the years, Karie has gained substantial marketing experience to include content creation, both online and offline, print and digital collateral design development, company recognition and visibility techniques, personalized digital marketing strategies and proficiency in platform management.
Karie possesses a very personable approach, being your initial contact, while addressing the smallest details of your project. Her customer service is top notch, truly listening to our clients’ needs and consistently following projects to their completion. You will be sure to leave your initial meeting knowing she is fully invested in your business’ success!
In her spare time, Karie can be found at the Hanover Dog Park with her two goldendoodles. She also enjoys painting and singing and participates in many activities at her church.
Lindsey Claud's Bio
Lindsey is the liaison between customers and RVA Construction team members. When you call the office, you reach Lindsey. She is our “go-to” person who connects all departments, thus supporting a unified foundation for exceptional customer service.
She stays on top of daily schedules, manages calendars, ensures HR compliance, and equips the office with support materials. Overall, she makes sure the office runs smoothly. A native of Richmond, Lindsey has been with RVA Construction for 2 years.

Matson L. Roberts's Bio
Benefit from Matson’s 35+ years of experience with international, regional, and local construction to help you assemble the right team for your project. Contact him during the preconstruction phase for planning and budgeting and align your project’s purpose with a solid roadmap for success. He can help you minimize risk related to labor, supply chain, scope, and schedule while still achieving the project goals and requirements.
He applies his 14 years as a mechanical contractor to MEP intensive projects and design-builds. His extensive experience supplements his B.S. in Physics Engineering from Washington & Lee University, being a registered Professional Engineer in The Commonwealth of Virginia, a Designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA) credential, and a Building Information Modeling (B.I.M) certification from AGC of America.
He is also an advocate for green building development and holds a LEED-AP/BD+C certification from the US Green Business Council (USGBC). Matson’s multiple LEED Gold certified projects will be an asset on your next environmentally friendly project.
Matson’s leadership skills are not only applied through his years at RVA Construction, but also extend to the community. He is a past President of the Richmond Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and past Treasurer for the James River Green Building Council (JRGBC). His dedication to leadership is reflected in his certifications from The Management Institute at Roanoke College, The Leadership Institute, FMI in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Leadership Roanoke Valley (LRV) Program, and the Leadership Metro Richmond Program (Virginia).

Mike Buzzard's Bio
Mike brings 30+ years of experience in construction leadership, with a knack for building cohesive teams, connecting with clients, garnering support from materials suppliers, and the ability to manage multiple projects for a client at the same time. His highly responsive problem-solving skills prove useful when working through unforeseen on-site conditions and avoiding cost overruns.
Mike earns repeat work with clients such as the University of Richmond, Luck Stone, and Mary Washington Healthcare. His portfolio also includes Lawrence Dodge, Bassett Furniture in the commercial sector, the Hindu Center of Virginia in the religious sector, and Glen Allen High School in the educational sector. In the medical sector, he has lead projects with Mary Washington Healthcare (Wound Center), Richmond Allergy & Asthma, Virginia Cancer Institute, and The Veterans Administration Client Based Outpatient Care Center.
He is OSHA 30 Certified, ABC First Aid and CPR Certified, DCR Storm Water Prevention Plan Certified and trained as a AGC Construction Supervisor.
Ted Fallin's Bio
Ted was the first superintendent ever hired at RVA and brings 30+ years of experience in the construction industry. Ted specializes in Imaging Centers, having completed multiple MRI and CT replacements. Ted’s role is to lead project teams in the daily field activities. Overall, he monitors and enforces safety standards, schedules, budgets, inspects workmanship and assures all work adheres to RVA’s standard of quality. Ted engages effectively with tradespeople and Owners alike due to his infectiously positive attitude and background and his love of carpentry. Ted is tenacious about sticking to deadlines while keeping a respectful, informal dynamic with all on site trade partners.
Recent clients include Independence Park in Richmond, ACAC Fitness in Midlothian, University of Richmond Westhampton Center, and the Richmond International Raceway. His significant experience in the medical industry shows through his work with CJW Hospital (MRI Suite), Virginia Urology, Pouncey Tract Veterinary Hospital, Brook Road Dental, Blacksburg Diagnostic Imaging Center, Chesterfield Optometric Center, and Wyeth Pharmaceutical.
He is OSHA 30 Certified, First Aid and CPR Certified, and trained as a AGC Construction Supervisor. He has also been certified as a TCA/ACI Tilt-Up Technician.
