Scope Of Work
This single religious cultural building is made up of 16 individual temples, classrooms, library, dance studio, catering kitchen, brick walking plaza, gardens and administrative offices.
The Hindu Center is the first LEED certified Religious Building in the United States and first LEED Gold certified Religious Building in Virginia.
The U.S. Green Building Council describes their green features as bright daylit interiors, natural minerals, water saving fixtures, and energy efficient systems, including the EIFS (exterior insulation and finishing system) used to minimize energy consumption.
The Worship Hall and main Entry Hall feature skylights and clearstory windows to bring in the sunshine on a beautiful day.
