Scope Of Work
The Cities of Bristol, VA & Bristol, TN elected to renovate the existing 15,000 sf library and construct a 34,000 sf addition. The library’s operations were temporarily relocated off site while the project was under construction. The existing building was stripped down to the structural steel frame and was rebuilt to match the new addition. While continuing to provide all of the standard services and activities a library normally offers, the inclusion of public meeting areas and conference rooms has added an expanded vision and use of the library by both public and private organizations.
