Arthur joined Samet Corporation as an estimator, and subsequently progressed through a training program encompassing all 16 divisions of construction and property management. He later diversified into real estate and development, obtaining his MBA while leading Samet's real estate division. Arthur was promoted to President & CEO of Samet Corporation in October 2000.

Arthur earned his B.A. degree at the University of Georgia and his MBA at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Arthur is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and is past President of the North Carolina CCIM Chapter Board.

Doug Beane is a financial professional with over twenty-five years of experience in all facets of Accounting and Finance. In his current role as CFO, Doug serves as the department head for Samet’s Finance/Accounting function, providing the department’s overall management and direction. Prior to employment with Samet, Doug was the Chief Risk Officer of a community bank, where he played a strategic role in setting policy, evaluating risks and opportunities, and positioning the business for long-term success. Doug is a licensed CPA.

Doug is a strategic leader, problem solver, and company risk manager. His abilities in operational process improvement position Samet to align company business objectives around our Core Values (Service, Quality, Innovation, Safety, and Trust) and create future scalability. He graduated from Appalachian State University and began his career working for a regional accounting firm.

Rick was promoted to President of Construction in November 2009. In this role, he directs and manages all facets of Samet's core construction business. Previously, Rick led the business development team, and helped guide the company’s diversification beyond its core commercial and industrial markets into the technology, healthcare, housing, and education sectors. Prior to joining Samet, Rick held sales and project management positions in the environmental and industrial construction industries; he has over twenty years in the construction industry.

Rick earned a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts. His professional affiliations include North Carolina Economic Developers' Assn. (NCEDA) and the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Rick is a licensed real estate broker in the state of North Carolina.

He serves on the board of Alamance Regional Medical Center, The ARMC Charitable Foundation (Chairman of the Alamance Society Committee), GA LEED, and is a past board member for the Alamance Chamber of Commerce and Past President of Burlington Downtown Corporation.
