A.J. Lysne Contracting Corp.

In the year 1898 Louis Lysne starting a general contracting business, building homes, barns, and commercial buildings in the Blooming Prairie area. Louis soon invested in building moving equipment and taught himself the business and moved his first building using a horse-drawn winch over snowy roads.

Louis's sons, Kenneth and Lawrence, both returned from WWII to form Lysne Construction in Blooming Prairie. Following the post war baby boom, their company built schools, churches, hospitals, retail establishments, and a multitude of other projects all over the midwest.

In 1978 Kenneth's son, Allen, established AJ Lysne Contracting Corporation. Operations of this general contracting and construction management firm are managed on a day-to-day basis by Al and a team of accomplished and long-term employees.

AJ Lysne continues the multi-faceted building tradition through the construction of schools, plant maintenance, dismantling & erecting machinery, retail establishments, industrial plants, churches, and numerous public projects throughout MN, as well as hotel and retail projects  in AZ, TX, WV, DC, and Atlantic City NJ.
