Scope Of Work
The existing structure, P-25-0118, was built in 1953 and was structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. The structure was a two-span steel girder concrete deck structure supported on full retaining concrete abutments with a clear roadway width between the railings of 21.5 feet and an overall length of 31.0 feet. The structure also had a concrete floor and apron with a drop condition at the outlet end. There was evidence of scour problems at the structure; and there was a large scour hole downstream of structure. The problem stems from inadequate hydraulic capacity.
