Mathew / Matt Myers 's Bio
Story
Matt graduated Bergen Catholic high school in 1982. He started working in the construction field as a laborer-digging trenches, hauling debris, and materials, and cleaning job site debris. Eventually he became an interior finish carpenter and painter.
Matt was determined to finish his education however and would attend college and law school in the evening divisions. He graduated from Rutgers in 1986 and New York Law School in 1990.
Matt was licensed to practice law in New Jersey in 1990 and embarked on a distinguished thirty three year career. He solely concentrated his practice on construction litigation. Among his notable achievements were the following settlements and verdicts for defective construction on behalf of condominium associations
$ 31 million dollar settlement for Hudson County condominium association (excessive settlement, water infiltration, code compliance);
$ 24 million dollar settlement for West New York condominium
association (excessive settlement, water infiltration, code compliance)
$ 20 million dollar jury verdict for Hudson
River Waterfront condominium association, including treble damages
under Consumer Fraud Act;
$ 13 million dollar settlement for North Bergen condominium
association for excessive settlement, roofing issues, facade defects
and water infiltration;
However, Matt never lost his true love for construction. He flipped several houses as a “side hustle” to keep the construction juices flowing in his veins.
Upon semi-retirement from the law, Matt decided to pick up his first true professional love of construction and opened MEM Construction Group LLC in 2024.

My background in Business has included working with large Corp’s as Regional Director, responsible for every task as a leader for the above accountability, along with building a respectable fun environment for Hires & Clients. What I learned early on was to work hard, Learn something new every day. I quickly understood We must work smart rather than Hard.
I truly enjoyed Starting a Company from a start up to 40 million Corp. if that’s not education firsthand.

Ada started her Own Marketing Company over 10 years ago. Working with Medical Providers, growing their Practice. She Became a Franchise Owner with The Blue Book Building Construction Network.
