Amy Burpee Cordone's Bio
Amy Cordone is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy and is responsible for leading the operational support for over 20 construction jobsites. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Amy brings an in-depth understanding of the construction business. Since joining L+M in 2014, Amy has evaluated and implemented process improvements and driven operational efficiencies including the use of technology within Builders and in collaboration with other departments. Additionally, Amy oversees the Compliance efforts for the Company relating to workforce and M/WBE contracting goals and reporting. Prior to joining L+M, Amy worked with Tishman Construction (AECOM) and led corporate initiatives and change management for the construction services business including more than 10 regional offices and improved processes that aligned business needs with project needs, while minimizing risk. She is the recipient of the Top 20 Under 40 for Metro New York from Engineering News Record, a Member of the Year for the Boston Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and is a current member of the New York chapter of CREW NY. Amy holds a BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, a certificate in international business from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University, and an EMBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Carrie Van Syckel's Bio
Carrie joined L+M Development Partners in September 2016. Prior to joining L+M, Carrie was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and the Chief Operating Officer of the Urban Investment Group (UIG). During Carrie’s time with the Urban Investment Group, approximately $4 billion was committed to underserved neighborhoods focusing on real estate investments, social impact bonds and financing for small businesses. Carrie was also responsible for oversight of the GS Social Impact Fund. Prior to her role as COO, Carrie led a variety of real estate and corporate transactions across all product types including debt, equity and tax credits for UIG. Earlier in her career at Goldman Sachs, Carrie was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2000, Carrie worked in the Investment Banking Division of Banc of America Securities. Carrie serves on the Board of Urban Strategies, a non-profit focused on redeveloping urban communities and the Educational Alliance, a non-profit providing social services and education to New Yorkers, Family and Children’s Services of Monmouth County, a social services agency, and the Springpoint Senior Living Foundation. Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Debra Kenyon's Bio
Debbie has been at L+M for over twenty-five years where she has served in many roles from General Counsel to Director of Development to Chief Operating Officer. In her current role as Vice Chair and Senior Partner, she is focused on the company’s commitments to philanthropy and community investment that align with L+M’s mission of doing well and doing good.
She spearheads L+M’s community investment work which supports L+M’s work as a developer, builder and owner that builds community as well as buildings. In addition, Debbie is responsible for oversight of risk management and legal for the company and continues to provide guidance in the environmental challenges of its business. Debbie began her career as an attorney specializing in corporate law at Robinson, Silverman, Pearce, Aronsohn and Berman in New York City. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York at Binghamton and earned a JD from New York University School of Law. Debbie sits on the boards of Building Skills NY – a non-profit that partners with local workforce providers to place unemployed and underemployed New Yorkers in construction jobs and PENCIL – an organization that connects New York City public school students to success through partnerships with the business community. She has served as a mentor in the Let’s Get Ready college admissions mentoring program for low-income high school students, and was a past president of the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.
Gerald L. Miceli's Bio
Gerald Miceli has over 25 years of construction experience in both commercial and residential markets. During the last ten years with L+M Builders Group, he has helped transform and grow L+M into a top residential developer and builder in the New York City Metro area in several development markets including for-sale condominiums, market-rate rentals, affordable rentals, mixed-use and preservation/rehabilitation projects. As President of L+M Builders Group, Gerry directs the day-to-day operations of the Group supporting the mission and vision of L+M. He is responsible for overseeing the management of projects including staffing and field operations as well as working collaboratively with other business units within L+M, while establishing relationships with clients, partners, and the community where L+M works. Gerry holds a BS in civil engineering from Manhattan College. He is a Golf Committee Member for the New Rochelle Boys and Girls Club and was also recognized as the organization’s Man of the Year in 2006. Gerry was one of the founding members of the Manhattan College Mentoring Committee.
Lenny Rueben's Bio
Lenny Rueben joined L+M Development Partners in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing relationships with lenders, investors and auditors as well as leading the firm’s accounting, human resources and information technology teams. Prior to joining L+M, Lenny spent six years with Ernst & Young’s Management Consulting Practice, where he led numerous financial reengineering and system integration projects for Fortune 50 clients. Lenny also spent five years as controller for a large developer of Class-A office and luxury coops in Manhattan. Lenny earned, a BS in Accounting from Ithaca College and an MBA with honors in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
Lisa Gomez's Bio
Lisa Gomez oversees the day-to-day operations of L+M Development Partners and its affiliated companies. Lisa has more than 25 years of experience in real estate finance and development. Prior to joining L+M, she was in senior management at the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC), overseeing $1 billion annually in bond financing and mortgage insurance. At HDC, she was also responsible for developing and executing policy and financing programs to stimulate the creation of affordable housing for Mayor Bloomberg’s successful New Housing Marketplace Plan. Lisa also held various positions at JP Morgan Chase Bank, the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and Silverstein Properties, among others. Lisa is a Board member of the Center for the Urban Future and is a past Chair of the New York State Association of Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH), as well as the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center. Lisa was also a Commissioner of the New York City Planning Commission from 2004 to 2007. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and has completed coursework through the New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Mentor Haxhija's Bio
Mentor Haxhija is a Senior Vice President and Project Executive for L+M Builders Group. Mentor has over fifteen years of construction management experience working on a variety of residential and mixed-use projects. He is currently responsible for managing the construction aspects of several of L+M’s high-rise developments in Manhattan, including Sites 2 and 4 totaling more than 800,000 square feet at the Lower East Side’s Essex Crossing development, as well as a 49-story market-rate condominium development at 25 Park Row in the Financial District. He is responsible for overseeing the construction budgets, negotiating the construction management agreements, supervising construction managers and ensuring the safe and timely completion of projects. In his time at L+M, he has overseen the construction of over 1,300 residential units. Prior to joining L+M, Mentor worked for Turner Construction Company in the preconstruction department on several large-scale commercial, educational and healthcare projects. Mentor holds a BS in civil engineering from Manhattan College and is currently in pursuit of his MBA at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
Richard Weinstock's Bio
Richard Weinstock has been involved with real estate and construction since 1984. He began his career in Brooklyn, developing abandoned brownstones in historic neighborhoods and restoring them to obtain the Historic Tax Credit. His company also built custom homes and managed general contracting for other developers, including L+M. He joined the company as a Project Manager in 1995 and has since been involved in almost every project built by L+M. Most recently, he has taken an active role in the pre-development phase, with a focus on building quality and innovative housing that is attractive and energy efficient, both in New York and in New Jersey. Richard holds an MS degree from Columbia University and has completed all MBA coursework at Pace University.
Ron Moelis's Bio
Ron Moelis is a co-founder of L+M Development Partners and its affiliated companies. He is a founding member of the New York State Association for Affordable Housing and the co-chairperson of Building Skills NY.
Ron also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Tenement Museum and Board of Trustees for Montefiore Health Systems. He is also on the National Advisory Board at the Netter Center for Community Partnerships at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Advisory Board at the Furman Center at New York University.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he holds both a B.A. in history and a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School and a J.D. from New York University. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year for Real Estate in 2012 by Ernst and Young for his many years of innovation and creativity in real estate finance and development.
Sanford Loewentheil's Bio
Sanford Loewentheil is a third-generation builder and has been a developer for over 30 years. Since co-founding L+M Development Partners, his focus has been on the construction and development of affordable housing in the Tri-state area. Sandy serves on the Washington University Arts and Sciences National Council as well as the Board of Trustees of Washington University. Sandy also serves on the Board of Strive for College, a California-based non-profit that addresses the inequities of college access by mentoring high school students with the services of students from local universities and via virtual mentoring as well.

Stephen Bonasera's Bio
Stephen Bonasera is the Vice President of Preconstruction and leads the team responsible for guiding projects from feasibility to construction. Since joining L+M in 2008, Stephen has built the Preconstruction team and has collaborated on more than 60 residential and mixed-use development projects. Under his leadership, the team has developed expertise in sustainable and resilient developments including passive housing standards. Prior to joining L+M, Stephen managed commercial, residential and institutional projects in the NY Metro area for Triton Construction and consulted with clients on project costs, design and feasibility. Stephen graduated with a BS in structural engineering and environmental engineering from the University of Maryland, A. James Clark College of Engineering.

Christina Warner's Bio
Christina Warner is the Vice President of Commercial Leasing at L+M Development Partners. Since 2007, Christina has led the retail leasing efforts at L+M-owned buildings and in ventures throughout New York City, New Jersey and New Orleans, focusing on bringing goods and services to underserved areas. Christina brings over 20 years of experience working on both the tenant and landlord side, and has negotiated over 300 leases for commercial, non-profit and international franchises. Prior to joining L+M, Christina was a demographic research analyst for multinational corporations Starbucks and Costco Wholesale. Christina holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and is currently pursuing an MA at New York University.
Isaac Henderson's Bio
Isaac Henderson is a Managing Director at L+M Development Partners. Isaac has over fifteen years of development experience, has been involved in the development of over 2,000 units of mixed-income housing, and has extensive experience working with federal, state and city affordable housing programs including Low-Income and New Market Tax Credits (LIHTC), tax exempt bonds and public subsidies. Currently, Isaac is managing the Essex Crossing Project, a nine-site, 2 million-square-foot development in New York City’s Lower East Side that will include over 1,000 units of mixed-income housing, retail, office and community facility space. The project is expected to be built over ten years. Prior to joining L+M in 2012, Isaac spent six years as a project manager at CPC Resources in New York. Before CPC Resources, Isaac worked for six years at BRIDGE Housing Corporation as a project manager developing affordable housing. Isaac holds a BA in economics from Grinnell College and a MA in city planning from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Jeffrey Moelis's Bio
Jeffrey Moelis began his career with L+M twelve years ago when he co-founded C+C Apartment Management, the management affiliate of L+M. Currently, he leads L+M’s preservation efforts throughout New York, New Jersey and California. Jeffrey has had a role in all L+M’s preservation transactions which includes the acquisition and rehabilitation of nearly 5,000 units totaling $1.2 billion in development cost. He has worked on the physical and financial repositioning of several Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Year 15 resyndication portfolios, distressed Mitchell-Lama housing projects and Section 8 portfolios. Prior to founding C+C, Jeffrey established a successful track record as a private equity investor at The Carlyle Group and Paul Capital Partners. Before his career as a private equity investor, Jeffrey worked at a non-profit community development group based in Oakland, California, where he served as the senior project manager for the $100 million Fruitvale BART Transit Village, a transit-oriented, mixed-use development that evolved into a model for inner city redevelopment. Jeffrey has a BA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jeffrey Ferrero's Bio
Jeff Ferrero is a Vice President and Project Executive with L+M Builders Group. With more than 20 years of construction experience, Jeff leads several new residential building projects, supervising staff to ensure that each project meets L+M’s standard of excellence. Since joining L+M in 2008, Jeff has successfully managed the construction of more than 13 buildings, over 1,100 residential units and 37,000 square feet of retail space. He is also experienced in managing third-party builder on both affordable and market-rate housing projects. In addition, Jeff has constructed LEED-certified buildings involving renewable energy systems including solar, wind and cogeneration, and leads the development of technical training for the Builders Group. Prior to joining L+M, Jeff worked with Granite Construction and Perini Corp. on several large scale civil contracts including the $250 million Grand Avenue Bus Depot and the $150 million Long Island Expressway/Cross Island Parkway Interchange. He holds a BS in civil engineering from Merrimack College.
Jonathan Cortell's Bio
Jonathan Cortell is a Managing Director at L+M Development Partners with a particular focus on extending the firm’s business beyond New York City. Since joining L+M in 2005, Jon has represented the firm on multiple transactions, and is working on mixed-income and mixed-use transactions in New Jersey, specifically in Downtown Newark and Jersey City. Prior to joining L+M, Jon was the Vice President and Director of Development at the New York State Housing Finance Agency (HFA). In 2015, Jon was the recipient of the Rising Star Award at the Multifamily Executive Awards. Jon has a BA and a MPA from Columbia University as well as a MBA from New York University’s Stern Business School.
Spencer Orkus's Bio
Spencer Orkus is a Managing Director at L+M Development Partners and has been with the company since 2007. He has developed approximately 3,000 affordable units within various mixed-use new construction projects totaling over $1.5 billion. Prior to joining L+M, Spencer worked as a licensed structural engineer for DeSimone Consulting Engineers designing high-rise residential buildings and other structures. He has a BA and MA in architectural engineering from Penn State University as well as an MA in real estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is co-chair of the NYSAFAH policy committee and serves on the Hastings on Hudson waterfront zoning committee.

David Dishy's Bio
David is responsible for all investment and new development activity at L+M Development Partners, including oversight for each of the core expertise groups and investment platforms with Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group and Citi Community Capital. He brings over 25 years of acquisitions, finance and new development experience, and has been a key participant in transactions involving over 20,000 units and $5 billion of investment. Prior to joining L+M, David spent much of his career in senior development roles at Forest City Ratner Companies and Tishman Speyer in New York. He began his professional life working in city planning and economic development before joining HR&A Advisors to focus on public-private development strategy and housing finance. David has served with organizations such as the Enterprise Community Partners New York Advisory Board, the Randall’s Island Park Alliance, the LIC Partnership, Manhattan Community Board 7, and as a fellow with Coro New York. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in urban studies and earned an M.S. in real estate development from Columbia University.
Tell Metzger's Bio
Since joining L+M in 2005, Tell has directly overseen the development of over $1.4 billion of mixed-use and residential development, including more than 1,300 residential units and over 150,000 square feet of retail space. He currently manages the team focusing on market-rate development. With primary responsibility across the practice areas of finance, design, constructability and legal review, he has overseen all stages of development, from acquisitions through predevelopment and from construction through leasing and sales. He has developed multiple product types – including townhomes, mid-rise and high-rise – across all income bands. His specialty areas include market-rate and for-sale product, complex environmental cleanup efforts, and layering multiple financing sources and tax abatements. Tell is a two-time winner of the “Big Apple Brownfield Award” for environmental remediation and a recipient of a Multifamily Executive Award for mid-rise development. He sits on the Board of the Greenpoint Manufacturing Design Center. Tell has a MA in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BA in History and a BA in Psychology from Brown University.

Eben Ellertson's Bio
Eben is responsible for L+M’s Fund Management business acquiring affordable, workforce and mixed-income multi-family assets. L+M’s discretionary real estate private equity platform manages and invests capital on behalf of institutional investors. Through these investment funds, L+M leverages the expertise and experience of its fully integrated real estate development and operating company to employ value-add strategies to acquire, reposition and develop affordable and mixed-income multi-family housing in the New York City Metro Area. Since its inception, L+M’s Fund Management business has acquired and / or financed the acquisition of nearly 10,000 multi-family units with a total capitalization of over $2 billion. Prior to joining L+M in 2010, Eben held acquisitions roles at development and investment management firms in New York City. Eben began his career supporting the growth of new small public and charter schools structuring public-private real estate partnerships for the New York City Department of Education during the Bloomberg administration. Eben graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from Wesleyan University and serves on the Board of Directors at Civic Builders and the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership.

Adam Hellegers's Bio
Adam Hellegers is a Co-General Counsel of L+M Development Partners. He is jointly responsible for the supervision of the legal staff with a dedicated focus on transactional activity. Adam joined L+M in 2010, and has previously held roles at L+M as a Development Co-Director of Preservation, as well as several legal positions. Prior to his L+M tenure, Adam worked within the real estate department at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC), was an attorney at Michael, Levitt & Rubenstein LLC, captive firm of Related Companies, and began his career working with the New York City Parks Department. Adam holds a BA magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law, where he received an academic award for urban and federal housing policy research. Adam participated in Coro Leadership NY XVII, is a former Chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Housing and Urban Development Committee, and is the current Board Chair of the Osborne Association.
Jeffrey B. Feldman's Bio
Jeff joined L+M Development Partners in 2007 as General Counsel. He is jointly responsible for the supervision of the legal staff with a dedicated focus on corporate, leasing and insurance matters at L+M. Prior to joining L+M, Jeff served as General Counsel for eleven years at a New York City-based real estate investment and operating company specializing in the financing, ownership and operation of Class A office buildings and shopping centers. Jeff was also a real estate associate at Shearman & Sterling for seven years and was the Chairman of the real estate department for a minority and women-owned Westchester County based law firm. Jeff earned his BA in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his JD from the College of Law at Syracuse University. Jeff serves as a Board Member for the Somers Education Foundation.
Yasmin Cornelius's Bio
Yasmin Cornelius is the Vice President of Community Affairs at L+M Development Partners and C+C Apartment Management where she is responsible for leading, planning and executing the community relations program. In addition, Yasmin oversees and coordinates engagement with stakeholders in all L+M/C+C communities. By working with community leaders and government officials on behalf of L+M/C+C, she facilitates job creation, support for local non-profits and the creation of needs-based programs for the community. Yasmin has over 20 years of experience in the private and public sector and has worked for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the New York State Senator Conference Leader and Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields and was District Manager for Community Board 10 in Central Harlem. Most recently, she was named the New York State Committeewoman for the 70th Assembly District in Central Harlem. Her current affiliations include: African American Day Parade Committee, Bradhurst Merchants Association, Friends of Brownsville Parks, Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, 125th Street Business Improvement District and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, New York Alumnae Chapter. Yasmin holds a BA in psychology from The City College of New York.
